Morning sickness cures? Anyone? :( |
Unfortunately - time. Michele :-) |
Birth. ;) I was very fortunate and didn't suffer from morning sickness. Uncooked hambuger meat was another story.... Friends always ate saltines and drank 7/up....hope it helps. |
Saltine crakers and 7 up..Emetrol is for morning sickness and it contains coke syrup that helped soothe that feeling. Its safe. Also Camomile tea will help. Are you having a girl?? I have 3 girls and I was so sick for about one month. They are now, 25,24 and 15..Good Luck to you....Lissette |
Well we have 3 boys and 3 girls. I had morning sickness for 1 of the boys and 2 of the girls, the worst for the boy. I was hoping that I would miss out on it this time around. |
Poor baby....I never had morning sickness but I can still feel for ya. I hope it doesn't last long. When are you due? I love the smell of babies (& puppies!):) |
I think it's a bit of an old wives tale, but I was told to have a ginger biscuit first thing in the morning to stop morning sickness. It might have all been psychological, but it worked for me! Congratulations on your pregnancy :) xxx xxx |
Google ginger and see what you think. I didn't know about it when I was pregnant so haven't tried it first hand but ginger tea is supposed to work miracles for morning sickness. Sometimes just smelling fresh ginger will do the trick. ETA: Also ginger ale as long as it's made with real ginger. There is a lot of research going on about how well ginger works for both morning sickness as well as motion sickness. |
Let me see if I got this right, You are having 6!!!!!!!!! |

I have had some vernors, but I will have to check to see if there is real ginger in it. Anything else with ginger is icky to me. I tried candied ginger once and about heaved. |
What Can I Do for Morning Sickness, Nausea, and Vomiting? Also, if you have some saltines, put them on the nightstand, and before you get up in the morning, eat some of those. Just don't try whistling while you're chewing, it gets kind of messy:D |
Well I popped out my Green Pharmacy book to see what it had to say. Besides ginger it recommends; peppermint tea- no more than 1 or 2 cups at a time. black horhound- apparently an herb- I'm not familiar with it but you take it as tea. cabbage- sounds strange but says it's an old time remedy and soothes overactive intestines that can contribute to morning sickness. I'm not sure how someone feeling nauseous could get it down but just passing on what the book says. peach leaves or bark tea raspberry leaf tea citrus fruit Hope you feel better! |
Try sucking on lemon heads. Angie |
My step daughter's Dr recommended something that worked for her but I never heard of the remedy till about a month ago but then I never had morning sickness either. I'll see if I can contact her. |
Oh thats good, I thought you said 3 boys and 3 girls YIKES. Good Luck Sweety, I hope you feel better soon. |
