Huge GROAN! Hope the Eyeworks, British Division goes bankrupt on that one. I see she is trying to trademark "Octomom." Maybe she can get her own line of comic books too.

I can't imagine who would, but I am sure someone will. Maybe her and Kate can jet set together. Man, I just have two kids and can not imagine how they afford to do things! We are trying to turn our back yard into a playground so we can stay at home this Summer most of the time and the kids have things to do....well one is 9 months she just has a baby swing...lol

I read somewhere that the British company hasn't found a station in the USA to buy the show, hopefully they won't find one!

people shouldn't watch that show. The problem is, is that most everyone loves babies, and I'm sure a lot of people are going to want to see what they look like at a year old, etc. The thing is, is that once someone turns the channel to that station, up go the ratings, and up goes her bank account

I hope not everybody gets mad at me when you read my following comment. I actually think her getting a reality show is good. She can support herself and her family without government assistance. She is making lemonade out of lemons. I understand why people prefer not to watch her show, because they do not approve of the choices she made in her life. I commend her for trying to find a way to take care of her children without government assistance.

Sadly, I bet quite a few people will end up watching this. America as a nation enjoys drama!! Just like the Real Housewives of everywhere, and all the other reality shows. I have no intentions of watching this.

Actually I think she has WAY more mental problems than people think and this is going to exacerbate them. And it isn't that I don't approve of her chioces it's that I think a doctor took advantage of a mentally ill woman and instead of asking themselves should I asked can I?

I won't watch this but someone will. There is a facination with babies especially multiples. Her plan is falling into place she is going to be on tv on a regular basis a famous/household name plus make money at it. Hmmm..... Angelina Jolie

I don't believe she is doing it to avoid government assistance she is
doing it to put herself in the limelight! It's all about her.
Somewhere down the road this family will not be together. IMO

You guys might be right about Octomom's personality. I do not follow her stories on the news, so I do not know what is going on in her life. What I do know is she is putting a lot of pressure on the state and her parents to take care of her children. I see the reality show has a way to help sustain her and her children without government assistance even if that is not her intentions for doing the show. A lot of people are making money off her situation, so maybe she is trying to make some money off her situation to help feed her children. I hope the best for her and her children.

I agree that she is weird and needs counseling from a therapist. Maybe that can be included in the show. I am also disgusted with the doctor impregnating Octomom with eight children that is why I feel sorry for her sometimes. She needs mental help, and her doctor should have known better. Without the reality show, how can she make enough money to feed her children? I understand that people might have many reasons why they hate the idea of Octomom having a reality show.

Personally the woman is annoying enough for me to watch on the news let alone a t.v. show. I keep saying it's just a matter of time before something happens and she loses those kids. Heaven forbid it's something life threatening before anyone can do anything at all. She just seems to be like a bomb ready to blow. Most types of shows don't last a life time they fizzle out. Just like Jon and Kate or any other reality show...it gets boring. Jon and Kate started out like a young married couple who had a true love for their family and each other and now being in the spot light has gone to their heads and messed it all up. I mean Kate looks better then she did in the beginning but her attitude stinks. (Remember the old saying, "Pretty is, is Pretty does?") Plus how much of a reality is it for the rest of us to have the makeover she's had. Not something most Mom's with more than 2-3 kids can afford to have done. That's not reality to me.

In one of the first few shows Kate showed us her incredibly saggy belly skin and the wife of a plastic surgeon took pity on her and asked her husband to remove the skin for nothing. I was really happy for Kate and don't think her "makeover" was frivolous. She works out and is toned because of that. She has gotten more and more abrasive and I have stopped watching the show. I think the twins are spoiled brats and now the little kids are starting to act like Maddie.

As far as the Octomom goes - at least SOMEONE (ADC) will be keeping an eye on her and hopefully the children will benefit from the close scrutiny. The woman is definitely touched in the head but she is getting what she set out to get in the first place. There are probably worse moms out there than her.
