Work from Home I'm looking for a job that I can do from home and make a decent amount of money. I don't want to get rich quick or anything like that. I want something legitimate that I will be able to do from home with very little going into anywhere. I have 4 kids that need me. One of them has been having some moderately serious health issues lately and I have been runnung him back and forth to the doctor and behavioral therapy (he has ADHD). He has serious allergies, her sees and ent, in total he has 5 doctors working together to try to help get him straightened out before he starts kindergarten. He has had 2 sinus surgeries in the last 2 months. There is no way he could go to daycare. I would lose my job in the first month just taking off for sick days. Anybody have any ideas? BTW I'm not creative and I can't sew or anything like that. Sorry. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Have you checked craigslist? What about freelance writing? Most hourly or salary work-at-home positions would still require that you obtain child care. Try to look for something with compensation based on completion (like $X/story) so that you could work on it after the kids went to sleep or when someone else could watch them. Good luck! |
I'm right there with you. My old job allowed me to come and go as I wanted and I worked at my own pace. I had deadlines but was able to go at my own pace so long as everything was taken care of. Unfortunately the company was sold and the new company had their own staff. :( |
What skills do you have that others might want or need...eg) are you good a a particular type of software or teaching something that you can do webinars like I teach microsoft publisher...or maybe a direct sales company like pampered chef or something...something along those lines..any marketable skill you have that you can do from home...setting up websites...I've even heard of people who do social networking for others like keeping them active and posting their twitter tweets...i know someone who will set up your website and get it ready for you to upload your items for $25 each site..not advertising for her just as an example of things to do..good luck I know you will find something.. |
I can type and I have accounting experience but no degree. I have been in school the past year for my degree but it has been slow going with my son's medical issues. I could do bookkeeping or typing, virtual secretary. I tried mystery shoping but I live in the country and everything is so far out that it was costing me more in gas than I was getting paid. |

there is a big market for virtual assistants....google that and check out some of the sites and see if that might be something you could do...come up with a name and get some cards done at vistaprint.com for cheap and set up a website then advertise it everywhere you go.. |
