Blackberry Curve Owners Please Come In
 

Hi guys! I just got my first Blackberry Curve and I think I already love it, but I wanted to know all the great info from experienced Curve owners!

What are your favorite apps and places to download cute things from?? :)

I wanted to buy a cute cover but couldn't find any around, so I just got a cheap nude colored skin for now so I don't scratch it up! Now the question is, bling or no bling? LOL

I have a Blackberry Curve that I am addicted to. I have downloaded a GPS application from Verizon that works really well - so far I haven't gotten lost using it. Also have our local ABC News station on the menu along with Twitter and Facebook.

Another feature I like is the Blackberry Messenger . You can send text messages directly to other Blackberry users direct (not going through Verizon or whatever carrier you have).

Also love the option of the two side buttons you can program, I have one set for locking my Blackberry and the other is set for my Profiles.

This is my second Blackberry and I have to say I like the Curve so much more, it is light and very streamline.

I love my Curve!

My 15 yr old wants on so bad but Im not going to get the web access. Would it still be good for her to Text?

I really haven't used mine much yet, but my provider - TMobile wouldn't sell the Blackberry w/o a web package :( so you might want to check into that w/your carrier.

This is what I want for my Bday in May. I really really want one. I too would be addicted! :):):):)

FYI- my provider won't sell any smartphones without the web package either.

I just got mine last week and am a total addict already.Mine is the pink Curve. I am going to have to check that forum out too!

I really worried about if we could afford it also since we're a one income household and it bumps our bill up like 35 ish with insurance on the phone. I hope I get a lot of use out of it to make it worth the cut somewhere else.

My DH and I are going to share it, since at this point getting two would be crazy and would double our cell bill, yikes! I think it should work out since when he needs it, he can leave me his cell.

So far my favorite app is the googlemaps one! I go to a lot of lawn sales in the summer and I ALWAYS get lost since I am not so good with the directions :(. So usually I'll wait for my DH to go with me on a Saturday, but by then all the good stuff is taken - so I hope this will help me feel more confident to get around to unfamiliar areas. I didn't get the phone w/the GPS but the googlemaps seems just as good to me! :)

Oh I would have LOVED the pink one!! The only TMoblie color choices were sunset (red) and titanium (grey), so I grabbed the grey and I hope I can find a cute cover somewhere!

Ahhh, I love my Curve :droolin:! It's my other baby besides Lillybug :eek:. I am always looking for something new to do to it! :rollingey

I love Crackberry.com, best site EVER :thumbup: to learn about all the ins and outs of your phone. They have the 101 series that tells you several basic functions of the phone. There are also tons and tons of threads where you will most likely learn something new everyday NO MATTER how many times you look at the site.

eBay is a God send for Curve accessories. I've bought so much already and I also used to buy accessories for my Pearl. eBay user "shopalmostfree" has the BlackBerry OEM skins for really cheap and free shipping (it was when I got mine). I did have a zebra print hard case on mine but switched to a lime green OEM silicone skin.

You should also check out NancyDrewThemes.com and girlythemes.blogspot.com! Both are great for themes! I'm currently in the Nancy Drew theme club, love it! There are also other themes on blueroomsolution.com!

I love the Myspace, Facebook and Live Search applications and BlackBerry Messenger is AWESOME! Doesn't get any better than that.
