I'm going to get my wisdom teeth out tomarrow morning, so i wont be online as much anymore (like i was on WHOLE LOT anyways with school and other stuff..lol) anyways, just to let you know, i am not wiped off the face of the earth, i havent run away, and i wasnt abducted by aliens ;)

It may not be so bad. My future daughter-in-law cannot take any kind of pain & had to have surgery to get hers out. She was only out of it for a day & was genuinely surprised herself how quickly she recovered. May you be the same.

thanks for the support....... im hoping i will only take one day to be "functional" i took thursday and friday off of work and then i have the weekend too, but i HAVE to be back at work;/school by monday, no exceptions. . . i had SUCH a hard time trying to find a substitute to fill in for me, it is a HUGE ordeal in itself to find one sub , but i needed to find ONE for the MORNING AND one for the afternoon for TWO days....... i was extremely lucky that i was able to get covered, usually i just come in sick because the hassel is too much :(

Oh man, wouldn't want to be you tomorrow. I would have to be dragged in kicking and screaming. Hope it goes easy for you and you are back up and around soon.

well, one day after surgery and i am doing fine. It doesnt hurt at all, i am very surprised. It is just a little tender (but no worse than the inflamed gums i was getting as a result of my wisdom teeth being left in........ that hurt WAY more than i do after surgery :rolleyes: )........ so i am living it up eating bannana chocolat milkshakes, chicken soup, and oatmeal (not necessarily in that order :p )..... im still not going to be on for a while because i have to work on my reading materials for college, but i just wanted to let you ghuys know that it wasnt bad at all

Good! I was the same way,,, had it done one Thurs,,, and by FRi I was fine,,, the biggest problem I had was I could barely fit a fork in my mouth ( which would be good now) LOL I just couldn't open my mouth up,,, I thought they did something wrong,, I was worried it would always be like that,,, How horrible would that be,,, No big bites,,, no carmel apples,,, no burritos,,, YIKES! but after about a week it was better and I could really open my mouth again,,like this... :eek: ..
I lived on KFC mashed potatoes and gravy.( cause it was right by my apartment )... now I can harldy stand it. :thumbdown
Anywho.... glad you're doing well! :)

Glad to hear you are doing well.. I had all four of my which were impacted taken out when i was 16.. Just rememebr, don't use a strew to drink your milkshakes.. That can mess up the stiches!! Good luck

Glad it went well. I had mine out by an oral surgeon and it wasn't bad. :thumbup:
