Have you ever have a miscarriege? Hi is being long since I last posted in this forum. A lot happed in my life the last three months. My husband went out of state for predeployment training, and going to be deployed in a month. Meanwhile, I lost my pregnancy. I am devastated, and dont have noone to talk to, so I thought about yorkie talk. I apologize if I remind anyone of this horrible experience, but I have some questions, that I didn;t ask the DR, cause I was to caught up in feeling sorry for myself. Can someone tell me, how long after the miscarriage you had to wait for your period? or ovulation? I only going to have my husband for 9 days before he goes on deployment. I really want another child, and I just turned 40. My only daughter is 4. Sorry for the long post. Thank you |
I so very sorry that you had this happen. I don't have any experience with this but I hope someone will be able to help you. Prayers coming your way for your health and welfare. |
I had a miscarriage and I had my period the next month like normal. Hope that helps. |

Im so sorry for your loss. Did you have a D&C? Dont give up... |
I'm so sorry. I have not had a miscarriage, but I've read it can be very difficult, first because it can be a terrible loss, and second because it can be hard to share your grief with others. My guess is that there are good message boards for women who are trying to get pregnant, and who have suffered miscarriages. Why don't you try searching google, or yahoo groups? |
I am so sorry.. I too understand what your going through.. it will take a while to heal but time will make it better:) |
I'm so sorry for your miscarriage. I carried my first son 6 months. Parker died when he was born on Feb.1, 1981. My second was a girl I carried 4 months, Shelby died on Oct.2 1986. My last three Preg. were in the first three months. I had d/c with all 3. I got my period the next month right on schedule after the surgery was done. I wish you the best of luck and Blessings to you and your Husband...:goodluck::hands: |

I'm so sorry for your loss :( |
I was never able to carry a baby to term !! I have 2 beautiful adopted Daughters from South Korea. Bryany is 23 and the mother of my 2 year old Gr. Son, Christopher and Brenee' is 17 and a Junior in High School. She is hoping to attend the University of Maryland in the Fall of 2010, to study Elem Education. I finally had a Tubal Ligation when I was 37 y.o. I've had enough lost baby dreams to last me a lifetime!! I still remember them like they were yesterday....Shelby is the only one we know where she is buried. I take flowers to her grave when the seasons change... she'll be gone 23 years in October, she would've been 23 next March {2010} and Parker would've been 28 years old on May 3rd... Thank-You for asking about them. My dh never remembers.... :tinyheart:tinyheart:tinyheart:tinyheart:tinyheart |
I have not gone through this, but I like to say I am so sorry for your loss (all ladies included, that have went through this.) This post shows me how I sometimes take for granted that I had two beautiful healthy babies.:( God bless and good luck! |
Thanks for every one who answer my post. I have met lots of great people in yorkie talk. Some are very crude, but truthful, and I believe they mean well; others are very sympathetic, with great hearts. That is why althoguh this is not related to our fur babies, I thought of yorkie talk to find relieve. I thank you all so very much. when I am away from this site I truthfully miss it. |
I to know what you are feeling. I am so sorry for your loss:ghug:. I too got my period the very next month on time. |
I miscarried my first pregnancy. I have 6 children now. I got my period right away after I miscarried. I didn't ovulate for awhile after that, but everyone I know that has miscarried has ovulated just fine afterward. I hope you are able to get pregnant again very soon! Have you thought about having your husbands sperm stored and get artificial insemination while you are gone? I know that is not terribly uncommon in situations like yours where the husband is going to be gone for awhile. I know it's not for everyone, but it's always an option. |
IM so sorry for your loss. ((hugs)) |
Sorry for your loss.:( How far along were you? That will make a difference in how soon you can try again. I would suggest using ovulation predictors to help you plan out your next try. You can get them by the pregnancy tests at the pharmacy. It makes it so much easier when you know your 'window of opportunity'. I experienced a loss last year. I was about 18 weeks pregnant. It was 5-6 weeks before I got a period again. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant, and I hope this one stays put. I told him he has to 'because mommy said so' :) I belong to this wonderful loss group on babycenter.com. There are lots of groups you can join. I have gotten wonderful support from many of the women. PM me here if you want to go there but have trouble finding it. |
I lost identical twin girls when I was 6 1/2 months pregnant. It was devistating. I had my son exactly 1 year and 2 days after I lost the twins. We decided to name him Thomas because we liked that name. After looking in baby name meanings we found out that Thomas means "twin" . We had no idea about this. I never got to hold my girls in my arms but I will forever hold them in my heart. Everything happens for a reason. If I would have had the twins my beautiful precious boy would not be in my life. He takes away with one hand and gives with the other. Good luck with your future pregnancy. It's very scary I can tell you first hand but what a reward in the end. |
