Anybody watching Dancing With the Stars??
 

Ok...so is anybody watching Dancing With the Stars?? I watched last night and already have a few faves. I really like Shaun and Mark, Gilles and Cheryl and Chuck and Julianne. I am a fan of Shaun's on the olympic court.....and I think she's cute as a button. Gilles...I'd never even heard of him....I didn't watch Sex in the City.....but man I can imagine he'd make one cute sexy nekkid man....LOL and I'm rooting for Julianne and Chuck because they are a real life couple and I think they are as cute as can be together. I felt sorry for the Apple creator guy Steve.....he's just not very graceful on his feet....but you have to give him kuddos for trying. I think its funny that Karina got stuck with him because I do not like her at all. as far as the cast this eyar...there were a few that I could have done without....like Holly Maddison and Denise Richardson....yuck!! I also dont know much about David Allen Grier....but I dont think Kim (his dancing partner) nor I really get his sense of humor....so I kind of feel sorry for her. Steve O really shocked me at how hard he tried on stage...I really thought he'd be the one to go out and make a total foold of himself and he didn't at all. Lil Kim also impressed me.....she cracked me up when she said she was dedicating her performance to the girls in the pen....LOL All in all it looks like this will be an interesting season......heck its already turned out to be since they've already had to replace two of the original cast members. i really would have liked to have seen Jewel dance too....if she can dance as pretty as her voice is....she would have been awesome to watch on the dance floor.

I'm pulling for Shawn, Michelle and Julianne's guy. They make such a cute couple and I've always liked her. As for Karina, can you believe that she and Max are engaged? Wasn't but just a few months ago that she was still with Mario Lopez. Hmmmm... must have been some hanky panky going on. She can really dance but that costume she had on was disgusting.

I did watch Sex & the City movie and I'm really rooting for Gilles! YUMMY! :D

I'm pulling for jewels husband the bull rider, (I've got a thing for cowboys) and Jullianne and her man, (love country music). I think they have the best chance since the probably practice even at home.

Opps...meant to say Melissa instead of Michelle.

I wish Ty (Jewel's hubby ) would have been more lighter on his feet. i just dont think he's got much of a chance as he looked quite ackward out there on the stage. i've also got a soft spot for cowboys....but I dont think he better hang his boots up for dancing shoes...LOL

I'm also a country fan so I'm so happy to see Julianne and Chuck dance together. I dont know if they have more of an advantage or maybe actually more of a disadvantage.....you know its gotta be tough to be his teacher and girlfriend too. Bet things can get a little hairy on the dance floor at practice....LOL

I agree with you for the most part. I am hoping Steve O improves! He has been so good since he went into rehab I'd like something nice to happen for him. I never have liked Lil Kim so I won't critique her! LOL

What do you think of this week's show? I thought Gilles did fantastic job and now he's one of my top picks. I thought sure the Apple guy would be the first to go and now we have to watch him another week. :(

Shaun is the cutest little thing. I loved when bruno was giving her crap about being nastier and Tom yelled at him and said shes only 17.

We need to keep Shawn in our thoughts and prayers. I cant believe some strange man was stocking this child. :confused:

Shawn got ripped off last night! I think their routine was absolutely wonderful! (Of course the fact that Derek is a hunk doesn't hurt much either.):bunnysmiley:

They were good and she is so cute. But I had to agree with the judges, this is a dance contest, not a gymnastics contest. It did tend to look more like a gymnastics routine than a dance.

I'm guessig Gilles and Cheryl will win.

Yes, I agree. It was great but it was more gymnastics than dancing.

I think Gilles and Cheryl are the best. She's not only a great dancer but teacher also. Did any of you see her house some years back? Both her parents are dance teachers and they have a ballroom inside.

I am so disappointed, we tried calling in for Shawn and Mark and the phone lines were busy! Hopefully that was a good sign and many people were getting through. We never did get in. :confused:

I find it much easier voting online. I hate busy signals..lol
