This thread almost had me crying... Just the title actually. :( My mom was told by the doctor's in February of '08 that we would have to get rid of Sapphire because of my dialysis... :( My mom couldn't do it though, and figured out a way to keep her. She's in the kitchen and the dialysis is in my room. She's not allowed to go near it because of the germs. |
1 Attachment(s) I can understand that there are some circumstances that would warrent rehoming because of a child. If one of my dogs bit one of the kids, they would be rehomed to someone with the strict requirment that they would not bring children around them. I could not ever keep a dog that bites, what kind of mother would that make me? But I have heard of people getting rid of their pets because they are having a baby, and unless that dog hates children, I cannot understand why someone would do that. Here is a picture of Kiana with 3 of our doggies. We just got home and laid her on the couch because she was sleeping, and Lilly, Diesel, and Cleo missed her so much they had to snuggle her right away. |
The golden retreiver in the first set of pictures is simply adorable!!! But MindieRose your picture is super cute, it wins because of the yorkies!!!:D |
my goodness those pitures are priceless, every last one. The last one had me going he seemed to think that little yorkie was food:rofl28ib: |
These pictures put a smile on my face. Love at it's purest. Loved your Yorkie picture the best, though.:D:D:D |

Loved them!! |
Thank you I even have one of our cats snuggling my 4 year old daughter while she is sleeping. Not just snuggled up to, but actually wrapped completely around. It's so funny, you would think with as much as our little kids can seem to torture our furkids, the furkids still adore them :) |
Buddy's favorite person in the whole world - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community Nicole's mother, my youngest daughter, jumped on our 86lbs GS when she was about 10yrs old, while he was sound asleep, just to hug him and he was so starled he bit whatever was infront of him being in a deep sleep. She almost lost her right eye. It required 14 stitches and I was scared to death she would go blind. It depends on the circumstances. It was not the dog's fault but my daughter's. He was in quaranteen at my home for two weeks but we never thought about getting rid of him. I did think about rehoming my daughter tho.:p She knew better but just wanted to love him. |
