Annie (the Broadway Play) Anyone here like Annie? I'm not talking about the Carol Burnette one. I'm talking about the Broadway play. My parents took us to see it when I was like 10, and I LOVED it. My sisters and I used to listen to that soundtrack about 20 times a day and I think I know the whole album by heart. Anyway I just found out its coming to town!!! I"m very excited. |
I LOVE THAT PLAY!!!!! I LOVE it all the movie play soundtrack everything. we did it at my school a few years ago too. |

Hince...a bit of my name here on Yorkie Talk being Annadoodle.....That is from my Toy Poodle I use to own.....We named her "Broadway Annie". She was a beautiful Apricot poodle~ And...I miss her.... :( I can watch it over and over  ....would love to be able to see it~ ;) |
I love the movie, but when my mom took me to see the play when i was young....8 maybe. I didn't like it because it wasn't like the movie. Now I would appreciate it more I'm sure. I made my husband take me to see Phantom in Chicago and loved it except for some of the sceens were hard to understand since they sang rather than talked. I've also seen Mame, Big River, & Anything goes. My parents took us to off broadway productions when we were kicks at the theater house in South Bend. I love anything by Andrew Loyd Webber. And I would love to Les Mis some days. My parents saw it in New York and said It was incredible. |
I enjoy both versions....loved the movie as a child and now as an adult i love the Broadway... All time favorite is and always will be The Phantom of the Opera i just wish i could have seen it when Sarah was playing christine |
