OMG, I just heard on the news that she got offered ONE Million dollars to star in an X Rated movie plus all her bills paid... is that SICK or what...OMG, what are this people thinking? she has 14 kids to take care of :mad:

I think I read that Dr. Phil said something about the hospital possibly not surrendering the babies to her if she was deemed to be an unfit mother...

I have a really hard time even comprehending how something like this happens without a great amount of ignorance or negligence on the part of several parties.

OK,
So she is living with her parents in a 3 bedroom house and the house payments are way behind. They are heading for forclosure.
I can see how desperate for money she must be and strongly suspect that she had making money on this pregnancy in her mind to begin with. Why else would she ask a doctor (if that is what you can call the quack) to implant 8 or more fertalized eggs! Even if I was desperate to have children I wouldn't want to take the chance of having that many. I know that a lot of implants don't take and a common practice (called fetal reduction) is used to kill extra fetuses if too many of them took but I still wouldn't risk it. I think 6 is the max in the United States so she had to have gone to Mexico.

She only had 6 implanted and I believe one split and thats how she ended up with 8 babies. She was on Dr Phil today and it continues on tomorrow

I just don't get her..she is just crazy!!! I understand if she is financially stable and okay to have 14 children but she is living with her parents at her age and for her to think US (tax payers) will take care of her mess is just beyond me. I get so angry everytime i see her face!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I heard a clip on this radio show. Her mother and her were bickering on how she was going to care for the children. Her mom is so upset and asked why she wanted to implant the rest of the embryos. She said she didn't want to just waste the ones she had from previous IVFs and that they needed a chance to live.
I don't even know what to think of that comment.

Honestly, this woman makes me so upset. I don't even know what to think of her.

Supposedly she had money for IVF from some accident, something like that, so she wanted to have a bunch of kids. Kids she can't even afford because she's living with her mother and she's on welfare.

A smart person would have used the money she had to help support her kids, not bring in more, 8 more!, into the situation.

In all honesty I don't think she should be allowed to have welfare. I may seem cruel to some, but she shouldn't. She went and got IVF, she HAD money. That doctor didn't use his best judgment either. I think it's wrong that she should be allowed welfare and that tax payers will be paying for the hospital bills. :thumbdown

I believe welfare should be used by people who truly need it, who are trying to get back on there feet, who didn't have IVF with 6 kids already, and are trying to support their kids.

Oh and she's supposed to have a TV show and people are already protesting it.

I'm all for people having as many kids as they want, but be able to support them before doing so.

She is so frustrating. She talks in circles and never directly answers the questions given to her. She dances around them while trying her hardest to carry off an Angelina Jolie type demeanour. She is ridiculous at best and mental unstable at worst. I feel very sorry for her children because she can't mentally or financially support them, and they will be the ones to suffer throughout this. Her "interview" with Dr. Phil was a joke. The only thing on her mind right now isn't her 14 children , but how much money she can get , what "freebies" are coming her way , and how big the house is that some stupid person undoubtedly will give her.

Hopefully the children won't suffer. I bet she will exploit them every chance she gets.

All we can do is pray that somehow this lady gets her head screwed on right.

I watched her being interviewed on Entertainment tonight and they were showing the house she lives in!
It's a cluttered mess and the kids have written and smeared stuff on the walls and doors. I don't know if she let them film it hoping people would feel sorry for her and donate to get her a bigger house. I would think it got her an open ticket with children protection services if there isn't one already!
She even said at one point she's already overwhelmed and the 8 babies aren't even home yet!!

If six were implanted and one egg split then that would make seven. Is she trying to convince people that TWO split. I don't believe it.

On the welfare note: I totally resent her going forth with this whole thing knowing full well that she couldn't afford it. She was depending on welfare and donations. I would never deny any of those children aid and support.....I just think their mother is every kind of trash you can think of. If the babies are lucky they will be taken away from her and put in homes where they can get the individual love and attention they need. Good lord! the older children aren't even old enough to help her like the kids on that "17 and Counting Show"!

Do you all think the argument between her and her mother is real or put on for the cameras and publicity?
