Arrest about to be made in the Chandra Levy Murder Case Surely you all remember her? This was back about 8 years or so ago: CNN.com - Chandra Levy's remains found in D.C. park - May 22, 2002 she was the one who was having an affair with California Congressman Gary Condit. Her body was finally found in a large park in D.C. where she always used to walk, and everyone thought that it could have been Gary Condit that killed her. And as of today it turns out that it really wasn't. They are saying that they are about to make an arrest in the case - although I'm a a little confused because I thought that they said that her killed was already in prison - or maybe he WAS. Not sure, but this is all over the news - all you have to do is turn on your T.V. I can't believe that after all this time has gone by, 8 years, they finally have her killer. AND, it was a guy that they interviewed way back when Chandra was killed. Incredible. I hope this is how to Natalie Holloway case turns out. Although we all know who killed her  but maybe one of the days, wayyyy down the road, they will actually make a (permanent) arrest in the case. |
Finally, that poor family will get the information they have needed for so long. |

You can make an arrest even though someone is still in prison, it seems redundant, but it's not. The most likely suspect is Ingmar Guandique, a Salvadoran immigrant, who is serving a 10 year sentence in a federal prison for attacking two women at knifepoint in Rock Creek Park around the time of Levy's disappearance in May 2001. Why these women were never questioned, or the cases connected until now is strange, but at the time everyone suspected Gary Condit because he was a married man having an affair, and that’s all the police seemed to focus on. |
woah im relieved they finally found her body.. hopefully this can lead to a faster case solved |
I'm happy that her family will be able to get justice for Chandra!! Hopefully she will now be able to R.I.P. !! If Natalie Holloway's family waits long enough, justice will prevail... eventually!!! Very sad story!!! :hearts33::rip::2hearts2: |
I agree with all of you! Hopefully now the Levy family will get some justice. I hope Natalie's family does too, as well as all of the other unfortunate families who have lost their loved ones due to murder. P.S. - There is going to be a movie about Natalie Holloway on LMN on Sunday....just not sure if it's this coming Sunday or not - I didn't catch the exact date - all I saw was "Sunday". I can't wait to see it. I have followed this case from the very beginning. |
