I think it's silly ;)

We will be on a plane to Mexico -- but it's definitely not for Valentine's day! It's our birthdays, on the same day ... the 23rd! We will be 20 and 22 :)

i do think you should show your significant other how much you love em all year, but both being fulltime students things get pretty busy so we definately consider valentines a special day. Its the one day we can just be lazy and be together,sleep til noon make a nice dinner at home and just catch up...and not feel bad for doing absolutely nothing:)

Hm, I have no idea! My boyfriend may not even be home so first I'm going to pray he is. Our 3 year anniversary :love: (not married yet) is the 19th so we do them both together kinda. We'll most likely go out to dinner or something & I got him a card and some candy. Besides that, I'm still clueless :confused:!

I have been teasing dh for a week now about what I want. I keep adding stuff! so far the list is:
1. A mushy card
2. Diamond earrings
3. Peanut Brittle
4. Another yorkie
5. 27 red roses
6. Changed my mind - make it emerald earrings.

It has been fun. All I really want is the mushy card! He picks out really neat ones!

Kids, Grandkids coming for dinner, just spending some time together Jack and I have been working alot and have not a dinner with all the kids and grankids for awhile. :D

Me and my bf are going out to dinner actaully its a couples dinner now we have a party of 8:eek:
and I got him a dress shirt, candy and a card :)

We are going to see Riverdance. Anyone see them?
We are taking our teenage kids. Not too romantic but should be fun. Happy Valentine's to all. Based on YT threads I bought Hide a Squirrel for Jasmine for Valentine's. Thought it was a little pricey $19.99 in Petco. Hope she likes it.

i love valentines day! my boyfriend went and got half my present today or so he says and he made reservations at a restaurant but i dont know where yet. i like surprises :) theres a ring from tiffany's that i've hinted to him about (aka emailing him the link for the ring and my size) lol :rolleyes: but who knows! i'm in charge of the "festivities" so i dropped by VS yesterday and got a few things hehehe :p i still have to get a card and a few other things for him after work tomorrow.

So funny- your hints are as subtle as mine are.:p This is the first holiday in a very long time that I haven't hinted (basically flat out saying what I want, where you can get it, and size if applicable.:D)

Me and hubby heading for cape cod. We go every year. There are about 35 of us going this year. We go shopping, hang around the pool, have a few drinks, This is the first time I will be leaving Romeo. My son is keeping him for 3 days. I miss him already. LOL he's as much trouble packing for as it is for us.

We were gonna do something but bf is working that day, i hope he gets out early but i know he was planning on cooking for me and i was going to get him this chocolate that is in the shape of a fish that says 'you're a keeper' LOL We will celebrate after wards. I really wanted to go on this valentines themed cruise i got sent tickets to but i guess not this yr. ahh well:rolleyes::p

wow.. I only paid $14 for mine at Petsmart at Christmas time. My boys LOVE LOVE LOVE it sooooo very much that Ive already had to buy a refill set of squirrels and Im down to only 2 left out of 6. They were tearing them apart. My Fletcher never goes more than 2 feet without one in his mouth! LOL :)

My hints aren't even hints. I've been telling him "I want a ring with our birthstones, our names, and wedding date". I doubt I'll ever get it unless I go do it myself. Just like this little keepsake box I wanted after our wedding that had corinthians 13:4 engraved on it. I had to go buy it myself... men! :rolleyes:

My Husbands the same way If I waited for him to get me a gift Id be waiting a lifetime. He is just not a shopper. So if I want something I buy it myself

To him ring = buying me electronics. lol

For Christmas one year I got a stereo for my car, an mp3 player, and a new cell phone... all of which he gave to me BEFORE christmas. He doesn't like surprises, so I guess he figures he should give it to me before so I'm not surprised either lol I appreciated it all, don't get me wrong, but for special occasions I prefer special things... things like that I feel can be bought anytime.

Gotta love 'em! :)
