My Star in the Making @ 10 yrs old...
 
Awgh.. this is my baby she is 10 yrs old and her name is Tyanna but I call her Boog (not because she dances I have always called her this since she was about 3) lol she loves to dance and has only had 1 year of dance background no training or anything before that. She wants to be a Well-Known Choreographer when she gets older!

Right now she dances with a Group of Adults in the SF bay area called Mind Over Matter, she is too advanced for children. She take Adult intermediate classe as well in the Bay Area with her Trainer Allan Frias aka Big Poppa (who starred on the 1st season of So You Think You Can Dance).

She does it because she loves it and has a lot of fun with it... She freestyle the last 2 minutes of the video so you can see how she does things.. Hope you enjoy!! If you use youtube please sub to the channel, every subscriber counts.... we just want to get her out there so her dreams can come true.

Thank you so very much, it truely means A LOT to me and Her!! She has so much confidence and is so sure that one day she will be somebody, everyone that comes into contact with her is sure of it as well!! I believe in her and she believes in herself I think that's enough to make dreams come true!!

Wow!! She is Awesome! Her freestyle is Amazing! I would say she is well on her way to being a well-known choreographer. Keep up the good work, the skies the limit Tyanna, you Rock!

Awgh thank you so much!!! Her freestyle, I think, is what sets her apart from everyone else. Freestyling is such a hard thing to do and she does it so well for a child. Many people are amazed by it.. her freestyle is how she makes her own choreo and she does that well also. Thanks so much again! She loves reading the comments!!

WOW...she is 10?? She is fantastic at Freestyle!!! I think this young lady has a very bright future ahead of her...and we can expect to see her on one of those dance shows!! Never give up your dream!!!

Thank you so much!!! She is very dedicated and does great at school as well.. She is a 5th grade G.A.T.E (Gifted And Talented Education) Student with A's and B's.. I am very hopeful as is she .. I always tell her to keep her dreams going and follow them.. people like you and your comments help her to keep pushing as well!!!!

Yup 10 years old, and Thank you so very much!!! she has danced with so many famous people already .. like Alyson Stoner (Disney), Dave Scott (Step-Up 2), & Laura Edwards (Fysh N Chicks)... she has learned so much in the short year she has been dancing and also won a Scholarship from a Hip Hop Convention called Monsters of Hip Hop Monsters of Hip Hop and it was her first year there .. she was one of 4 children picked!!! I am so very proud of her and I love watching her dance. Thank you again We truley appreciate it!!!!

Connie - Thank you very much as well, She is only 10 years old. She will be 11 in July. She has always been a little entertainer .. from holding concerts with a vaccuum when she was 2 to performing her own dances at the school talent show in 2nd grade.. I just hope the hard work she is now dedicating to dance will pay off one day. SHE WORKS HARDER THAN ME lol .. she never has a weekend anymore they are all dedicated to dance in SF and most times when she has shows to perform at she has to rehearse quite a few times a week out there (a 1.5 hour drive for us 3 total). Sorry I'm rambling.. but thank you very much!!

Wow, are you sure she's 10? :D Great moves. I just have one suggestion ... I think the song doesn't do her any justice. I think her style of dancing would be great with more of a fast paced song - or more hip hop with the drum beats and bass. Shes' great! Good luck to you!

lol Did you see her videos where they keep asking if she's 10? Everyone always asks that... but yeah I'm pretty sure :D ... She has tons of other videos with faster songs and stuff .. there are something like 50 videos from the past year .. some are of shows she's done (people pay to see them perform) and then there are some of Master class routines and some from Monsters of Hip-Hop and others are freestyles.

WOW, thank you to each and every one of you!! She is so delighted that adults are enjoying her videos as well!!! she has lots of youtube fans and subscribers but I really don't think that she realizes just how special she is and that a lot of her fans on youtube are adults as well lol ... she doesn't realize that her freestyling is not often seen in a child of her age.... She amazes me more everyday and I am so very proud of her!!!

Her trainer Allan also says he sees something very special in her and that is why he does what he does for free... he adores her and spends so much of his own time training her.

We did enter a couple of videos on the Oprah Site last night so I hope one makes it on there!! We also sent her in to the Maury Show for talented kids as well about a week ago so we will keep our fingers crossed.
Thank you again to all of you!!!! We appreciate the feedback so much and you guys made her week!!

Thanks for the link, we had been looking into The Pulse Tour and I had forgotten all about it!!

She attended Monsters Of Hip Hop Last year which is the same as the Pulse but with other famous choreographers and some of the same ones.. anyhow it was her first time there and she won a Scholarship in the audition... she was 1 of 4 children picked by Napolean Dumo of Nappy Tabs.. we were excited so now she gets to attend MOHH Free of Charge.

She is really good, especially for only a year of training. My oldest daughter has been dancing and competing for 9 years now. She goes to a Performing Arts school, and the confidence dance gives them is awesome!

She really is good and I enjoyed her Freestyle dance even more than the other! The moves seem to come quite naturally for her and that shows a real gift. That's great too you are so supportive of her.

Thank you so much, Although Tyanna can do choreo full out no problem, Freestyle is what she does best.. because it is natural .. it's just in her and she has an "EAR" for the rhythm and beats and lyrics too she dances to EVERYTHING and I think that makes her style truley unique. It is crazy that she even has her own style considering she's just 10 years young. I love when she makes her own choreography, she basically Freestyles remembers what she did and breaks it down into 8 counts.. just like her very talented Mr.Allan Frias :rolleyes: we call him sensai lol.

I am very supportive because I too love hip-hop and I have tried to do choreo LMAO .. NOT CUTE NOT AT ALL.. I could never keep up with her... lol I can't even get past the first 8 count :p.
