Anyone else hate when people chew like a pig/cow!!
 
Okay, I have two male roommates that chew like absolute pigs! Honestly, I am not being rude..they honestly are so loud that I have to leave. Is it just me, or does anyone else have a problem with people chewing loudly.

What would you say to them? I don't want to be harsh because they may not even realize they are doing it. Advice? Thank you!!:D

That's one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. Food smackers! Oh man, my boyfriend does this and I'm constantly telling him to close him mouth.

With people I don't know so well, I usually just end up irritated and can't finish my own food. I don't know what you could say... that wouldn't embarrass them or come off rude. Although chewing with your mouth open is somewhat rude.

I am totally with you. I can't stand it. My dad and brother both do it and not only does it get on my nerves it really grosses me out. I yell at them all the time. :p

I'd just...say it. Hm. I guess if you were just like "I'm not trying to be mean, but could you chew a little quieter?" haha. They probably don't even realize they do it.

My best friend does it. We've been best friends forever and I've never said anything to her about it. about a year ago, I've started glaring at her everytime she does it, until eventually she was like "WHAT is your problem?" and then I told her. and now whenever we're eating together all I have to do is look at her lol.

I always joke that every first date I ever have will be to a restaraunt, cause if the guy can pass the chewing test then we'll see where it goes. :p

My Husband does this and I can't STAND IT! I am always telling him he sounds like a cow chewing her cud! It's the slopping smacking sound that just drives me nuts! Sometimes I don't even have to say anything to him...all I have to do is look at him and he says....chewing too loud? YEEEESSS! What gets me is if he has to ask me then he must know.....right!!??

A lot of people have no control over it. I chew no different than anyone else, and my husband insists I chew loud. I have TMJ and my jaw pops too when I chew. I would be very hurt if someone actually got upset over it.

hahaha....I thought I was just being a B****! I am glad I am not the only one that gets annoyed at this habit! I think it is because they chew without closing their mouth.

I guess it does not bug me to much.My boyfriend on the other hand has a true obsession with it.Little does he know that he smacks his food the loudest i have ever heard but i dont say anything,lol.;)

I don't like it either. Especially when your at a restaraunt. It can be very embarassing.

A subtle hint?... hhmmm... how about serving their meal in a trough.......

My husband refers to that has eating like a horse I believe... LOL

I HATE That!! My daughter more recently does it... she is missing front teeth and has started to chew funny... But I am telling you, you can hear her when you are not even in the same room.. :rolleyes:

No it's not that, it's them chewing with their mouth open, smacking and smushing around all their food --- :eek:
