Urine Cleaners
 
I know alot of YTers have rescues and alot have multiple dogs. So what have you found to be the best product to remove urine old and new from carpet. I have been having a pee fest here at my house since Nia came. She only does it occasionally but Febi decided she wanted to lose all potty training rules and regulations. :(

I use Nature's Miracle and I try and shampoo the carpets every few weeks.

Thank you. I figured I needed to invest in a rug cleaner, but finding a place to store it is the problem

Lots of Nature's Miracle.:D I clean up the mess as much as possible and pour it on. I use it liberally and leave it until it dries...no blotting. If I smell anything I do it again. I also clean my carpets every 3 or 4 months.

Ladymom do you use the Nature's Miracle in the Bissell Proheat or do you use the bissell products?

Funny! Those are my three saviors! Yes, I use Natures Miracle in the Bissell and Spot Bot. If things have really gotten out of hand, I steam with straight water then go back over it with a Natures Miracle. The Spot Bot is a must for small messes.

Which Proheat do you have? When I googled I found several different ones (Turbo, 2x etc) ranging in price from $170-$340.

We have a Bissell Pro Heat 2x. I loaned it to two of my friends that also have pets and both went out and bought one for themselves. We had another Bissell before this one that lasted me 10 years!! Love them.

I use Natures Miracle first on the spots and let it sit for about a week. It's the enzyme action as it dries that dissolves the urine. After that, I use my Spot Bot with Bissell Pet Stain shampoo. I clean my carpets about every four months or so, too. I use the Bissell Proheat Turbo I got at Walmart years ago.

Lady is housebroken, but she's a diabetic so when her sugar is high, she'll have accidents. I'd be lost without my arsenal!

I love YT. You all give such great information I always check on here for anything pet related BEFORE I google. I will be investing in Natures Miracle soon and followed closely by a Bissell.
