I feel bad... Ok, so I went to go see Marley & Me today. Those of you who saw and helped me in my other thread, "Ugh... VENT!!!!" know that I went with my mom, brother, aunt, and cousin. Instead of going with my other aunt and uncle. Well, we weren't going to tell my uncle until after we had already gone. He came over today before we left and asked what we were up to. My grandma, my mom, my brother, and I weren't there at the time. But, my grandpa, aunt, and cousin were. My grandpa told him we were going to the movie. He got REALLY mad and stormed off... :( My grandma tried calling him later and he wouldn't answer his phone. He finally came back to her house and was yelling at my grandma and grandpa!! For something they didn't even do! :( We think he's having some other problems in his life that made him burst out like that, though. So, if you could please keep him in your prayers that everything is ok, I would greatly appreciate it. I just feel like I kind of let him down, you know? :( |
Wow That is really childish.If they really wanted to take you right away they shouldn't have kept putting it off. If they want to spend time with you they can take you to another movie. It is not your fault at all, don't feel bad. |

Aww Courtney! :( Don't feel bad, you waited and waited to go see it with them and they shouldn't of kept putting you off. He's probably more annoyed at himself for keep letting you down and then you went with someone else. I'm sure it'll blow over in a few days... :hug: |
You are a kid...uncle needs to understand that disappointing a kid is NOT cool!! OK so now that we're resolved that....did you LOVE the movie? Did it make you cry? I haven't read the book or seen the movie but I want to. |
Thanks guys. Yeah, I liked the movie. I did tear up a couple of times! lol :p I have to say, though, I think I actually liked the book better. I think they could've focused more on what Marley did and not what was happening with the rest of the family... But, overall, it was a great movie! :) |
