Need Prayers for my 930 cancer screening...
 
Hi all, I have my scan today, which willl determine whether I need radiation for the cancer or whether I'm done completely. I get the scan results right then and there. If it comes back clean (PRAYING FOR THAT) I can just resume life. If it comes back that some tissues were left behind (Dr. said happens 95% of the time) I will have to get strong radiation. That means I can't have any human contact for at least 1 week. I must sleep in a different room, go to separate restroom, eat on disposable dishes, use disposable linens, etc. I can't touch, not even so much as handshake with anyone must stay at 5-7 feet distance at all times. It's because I'm basically radioactive and it would do harm for people to be around that. Kind of like when you get an xray done and they put that heavy thing to protect you. Well I would be like a walking xray machine. I Pray that isn't necessary so please Pray for me!!! Thank you!

Prayer's coming your way for a clean bill of health today.

If not the radiation sounds terrible but it will do the trick as well.
A friend went through this as well and is now 100% free.

I remember when my kids were little and getting their immunizations and the dr. would always tell us to stay away for a day or so from any cancer patients that might be receiving chemo or radiation because their immune levels would be low and my kid could possibly pass on something from their shots.

Good luck with your screening. Will be praying for the best outcome!

Thank you all for your Prayers. It seems God wanted a different path for me today. My scan can back with some residuals left. But there is a silver lining. Its very little and I'm only ordered to stay away from people for a week. Could've been worse (2-3 weeks). I do have to stay on this sucky diet though for another 5 days where really all I can eat is fruits/veggies, and VERY little meat (no seafood). I can't have seasonings, dairy, eggs, rice, bread, though I can have VERY little pasta, like a couple of ounces a day. So I sit here eating my slices of avacado and tomatos hoping they will turn into a burger..lol..Otherwise I feel ok for now. Thanks again for all the support! I truly believe it could've been worse so your Prayers worked!:D

I'm sorry that things didn't turn out exactly as you wished, but it seems you've found the sliver lining and that is WONDERFUL!!! :)

It will all be over soon!!!!! Just 4 more days!!!

Wanna know a secret??:cool: So when the doctor left for 3 minutes my hubby and I had a quick make out session in his office to make up for the next 5 days of no contact..lol..and now we're in the house yelling HERE I COME DOWN THE STAIRS INTO THE KITCHEN MOVE AWAY..lool

Thanks! I just feel like it won't help me if I'm not positive and find the silver lining in life at all times. Even when the devil wants to bring me down I don't let him :D Cause God wants me to get something out of this. He has a plan for me, and I'm still here, alive, getting healthy. So for that I am grateful. :p

He he I told everyone not to come a knocking on sunday that's all I know..lol..It will be hard being around each other and not being less than 7 feet at all times from each other. Not even so much as a handshake is allowed.

Thank you all for your Prayers and Thoughts. Yea they gave me the option of hospital but I'm like why would I want to pay a huge deductible per night when my house has 4 bedrooms 3 full baths for me to choose from. So the doctor said it was ok if I did this at home, as long as I keep my distance from hubby and that I get no visitors and no going into the office. I'm blessed that I can work from home with my job. So no need for time off either. So it's worked out beautifully so far. We're getting into the routine. It's kinda funny I'm like yelling as I enter a room COMING INTO THE KITCHEN BETTER MOVE OUT OF THE WAY XRAY MACHINE COMING THROUGH..lol

Great attitude and that's what you need to get well. The Devil don't
like those of us who fight back so kick his ass and get well my YT
friend.
Will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayer's for a complete
recovery. Being able to work from home is a blessing also, it will keep you
busy and of course YT is here to break up the work load:p

Well that helps to stay positive then. I couldn't think of anything worse than being stuck in a hospital room and you can carry on as normal to some extent too. I like your little jokes about moving out the way. :D

Nobella, I just saw this. You know a good attitude is a good part of any recovery so you certainly have that on your side. Prayers are coming for you until you are well once more.:hands:
