I don't watch Tyra, but Sunday in church dh said a dude a few rows up kept scratching the skin on his nose, - not actually sticking his finger in his nose, although equally disgusting - looking at his finger, then eating whatever it is he picked off. Dh almost threw up. Talk about a distraction!

They have a compulsive disorder similar to biting your nails. I don't know what possesses them to go public though. I grew up totally ashamed of my lack of fingernails. I still have to watch myself. If I break a nail it is next to impossible for me to keep that finger out of my mouth until I find a file to take care of the rough edges.

Have y'all heard of that site, PostSecret? Well another forum I visit started their own version of that in thread form. The thread starter posted all of the secrets which were sent to her through anonymous emails. Very fun thread. Anyway... I was absolutely flabbergasted by how many people's secret was that they pick their nose and eat their boogers.:eek: These are grown women. I guess it must be an OCD thing but I truly had no idea this was a problem. It really makes you understand why some people have handshaking phobias.:p

ETA- Hey Kyle are you on this thread? A while back I linked you to the thread I'm talking about, remember? You saw how many booger eaters there are out there.:p

Haha, yes. If I remember correctly, I think some of the confessions were more vile than booger eaters. :p Some of the stuff on PostSecret is so funny and some are so depressing. :(

Well that's true but we all know some people do bad things and bad things happen to people but I didn't know people were eating boogers.:D

Ok boogers in my opinion is less gross then the scabs off your head. You have gross nasty phlegm run down you throat and i'm sure you've coughed up grossness. It's eating boogers in reverse!:rolleyes: Or at least thats what I tell myself to make it less gross in the grand scheme of things.

I do not eat my boogers or anyone elses.:) Its just my rational for when I see others doing it...usually while driving.:p

Ewwww! No, I agree about the scabs- it's a little higher than boogers on the gross scale.

Oh yuck. I can't even stand seeing kids do that, it makes me gag. Though when I was like 14 I went on a trip to Disneyland with my friend and her family, she was 16 and I caught her on the drive there shoving a booger in her mouth. It makes me gag just remembering it.
