Anyone else taking a spring break vacation?
 
My parents, fiance, and myself are heading to Mexico in February! Is anyone else taking a vacation in the spring? Where do you all go? Has anyone been to Mexico? Where do you stay?

This will be my 4th time in Mexico, we are going to the Mayan Riviera. I love it there! ;)

Oh FUN!!! Wish I was taking one. Me and hubby have been to Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa. We loved it...well...except for Montezuma's revenge near the end. TMI. :p

This is the first spring break in a few years were I don't think we are going away! :( I am going to Disney World in May and then on a few trips (Rehoboth Beach, DE once or twice, possibly Miami and/or Aruba) over the summer.

I've been to Mexico two or three spring breaks ago. We went to Cabo San Lucas. It was beautiful. :)

I've heard it's from drinking their water. Did you drink the water, or get it another way?

Good to hear that you liked it! Which resort did you stay at?

Wow, nice! I really want to visit Disneyworld! We drove to Los Angeles and went to Disneyland over Christmas. That was my third time being there, so I would really like to switch it up and check out Florida!

I haven't been to Cabo, but would really love to try it!

Sounds like you will be busy over the summer! :D

I don't how we got it...didn't drink water, but even the fruit can be a bit funky. We OD'd on mango, so I wonder if it was that....

Wow...I cannot, for the life of me, recall the name of the place! :rolleyes:

Your spring break sounds like a lot more fun than mine.:p We're going to Tallahassee for our daughter to tour the capitol building and see the senate in session. I'm trying to get her a meeting with our senator. I know it doesn't sound like a huge blast but my daughter's dream has always been to be a senator and it will be exciting for her.

I've been to Cozumel and Tulum. It was a cruise ship port of call. Tulum was very cool. Be sure to post pictures when you get back.:)

We're headed to Florida in 2 weeks for 10 days!! I cant wait cause this cold weather is really starting to annoy me!!

Hope you have fun in Mexico...the shopping is awesome there!!! El Cheapo!! :thumbup:

What a lucky girl! I'm sure she will love it!!

I've been to Tulum and really want to go to Cozumel! Didn't you just love the beach at Tulum? It looks right out of a postcard!!

Yes- it was gorgeous!:thumbup: We didn't spend much time in Cozumel due to time but Tulum was truly memorable.

I don't normally go anywhere for spring break. Went to the Bahamas once. That was amazing!

This year, for the last 3 days of break, 3 of my best friends and I are going to Boston for 3 days. It's gonna be fun. :)

:) We're just gonna be going around looking at all the historic stuff. We're all a bunch of history geeks, so this'll be like Christmas. :p Walking the Freedom Trail and whatnot. :)

Have you been to other parts of Mexico as well? I've never been to Mexico, but I'd love to visit someday!

Well I'm sure you will love it! I've never been to Boston! We take a drive every year to Vegas and Los Angeles and pass a lot of little places along the way, nothing too exciting along the I-15 there though!

We also drove to Illinois this October..it's a crazy story!

We left on a Thursday night, stopped at the Mall of America on the way (has anyone been? I love it!!) and arrived in Illinois Friday night. We woke up bright and early on Saturday to go to Six Flags Great America -- it was the last day it was open before winter -- plus it was FRIGHT FEST. So that was fun. We left there at 11:00PM, and got back to Saskatchewan Sunday around 8:00PM.

It was crazy, but fun!
