Has anyone ever ordered from Newport News clothing??
 
Have any of your ever ordered from Newport-News: Women's Clothing, Sportswear, Shoes, Jeans, Special Sizes, and more ??

I'm thinking of placing an order, but want to know how their quality is. Also, I'm from Canada -- they ship to the US only, but are paired with a company (MyUS - US Mail Forwarding, Worldwide Shipping) which gives you a US address, and it is shipped there, and they ship it to you. Has any one used this service before, or something like it? Thanks!!:)

yes, I have. I have found the quality of their clothes are not the same as what the pictures show. I don't order from them anymore..:(

Yep I agree 100%. The only thing you can order from them in my opinion is their bathing suits. They tend to be ok. The clothes on the other hand I find a bit lower quailty than what is depicted.

I agree lower quality, Not worth buying from there.

My grandma used to get stuff from there all the time. I always liked the things she got but not sure about the quality.

I've ordered from there....some of the things I liked(for the price anyway), some I didn't. I pretty much learned what to and what not to order from there. I find that I order more summer items, like summer dresses, skirts & such. Nothing formal.

Thanks everyone, that really helps! I found a dress I may order anyway, as it's only $29.00 and really my style! I'm just wondering if it's worth the extra shipping to Canada. Where do you all online shop that is inexpensive?

Hey, you are the one of the first person's I have seen from my home state. Of course I did talk to someone from Indian head :D the other day.
I think everything I have bought from Newport News is not in the trash...hehe..
Guess you will just have to order and see if you like it...:p

hmmm, online and inexpensive, :eek: I am going to have to get back to you on that one..LOL.. I go to JCPennys but not online, I think they have good sales but I don't know about online. :)

Indian Head...that's down the road from me...I'm in Brandywine if you kow where that is...:)

Hmm, well my sister also shops at Metrostyle online. I think they're fairly inexpensive, something along the lines of newport news. But remember, like Newport, you'll have to be careful what you order.

I just hate to buy things from Newport and have to go through the extra hassle of setting up a myus.com account for them to ship to them, to then ship to me and pay all the extra costs if the clothes are going to be butt!

My mum and I just recently purchased swimsuits off of Victoria's Secret and had to pay $80.00 in tax + $30.00 shipping!! Yikes!!

Yea, well you said it,, Victoria Secret is high dollar unless you get it on sale. But their stuff is pretty nice and holds up well. I have several of their pajama sets and other things. And if you spend enough money :D sometimes you can get shipping for free. But I don't know about shipping to Canada.:p
