Say Something Nice about... I am going out on a limb here and taking an idea from Kimberly (Txshopper) based upon her Kristy Post.. We should take the time to say something nice about either YT or a person (people) on YT.. I know that since I have been on this board, I feel like that I have made wonderful friendships (even though, i've never met any of you)... I guess having Yorkies (small dogs) bring us together... There are so many people on this board that i would like to thank... I can't even name all of you because it will take up too much space but I want ALL of you to know how happy your posts make me daily.. When I sign on, I really feel like I'm getting to know my friends and all of my furnieces and furnephews!! I know there's been alot going on lately but I just want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart be your wonderful advice, stories, games, etc.. I went though such a hard time losing Mocha and I feel without you all, i never would have been able to deal!! |
I have been a member of this board since July 2004...I must say, I have not come across such knowledgable, caring, devoted Yorkie owners/breeders before...We all agree to disagree on alot of things, but in the end its our Yorkies that bring us here and make us happy! I will continue to be a member here and continue to share pictures/stories about my lil girl! Of course if I get outta hand with the pics please let me know!! LOL!! No matter if you are up or down, rich or poor, thick or thin, black or white, you are welcome on YT - and members always answer posts encouragingly and supportingly when others members proudly show their babies or talk about a bad experience. This has encouraged me to be a more supportive member of YT and I wish more Danish forums were like this. A special thanks go to daisysmom who went out of her way to ship her coats around the world :) |
YT may be a little down right not, but it can...and will...one day be again the great site that it was! I've got faith!!! Let time pass and feelings heal...you'll see! I've made some good friends here and I hope to make many more. You guys are the greatest and I MEAN THAT!!! |

just about everyone on this board is friendly and helpful. i love coming on here, even if i'm constantly being reminded by my friends what a weirdo i am because i'm constantly talking about people i've never met. i have learned so much since i came here, and i could never completly thank everyone enough for what you've all given me. i'm a fairly new member to this forum, and a younger one, but no one really cares what my age is, when i have something to say everyone's ready to listen. i want to tahank you all from the bottom of my heart for always being there, from when we first joined, to losing bandit, to getting tucker, thank you all of you! |
I feel like I have "MET" most of you! I mean when you communicate with someone almost everyday for several months I think you can say that you "know" them even if you haven't met them in person. I am so happy to have found this forum because it is has taught me so much and allowed me as a new yorkie fancier to learn about these beautiful little dogs faster than I could have in any other way! I also feel like I know some of you very well. I can't stand it when I can't check in and see how everyone is doing. The few times I have had some major issue with Lily, you were there to give me advice and support. Thank goodness I have YT to come to. |

Thank you YT TEAM!! There are very few places on the internet where you will find this many people who get along and are mature enough to accept differing opinions without calling people names and attacking out of insecurity. The admin here is responsible in great part for this and I would like to thank him and the entire YT team for always being on top of things and allowing us to discuss or yorkie issues openly and free from prejudice and libelous statements. This is so important with so many members and this should be a place where it is a privilge to come, not a right...but a place where there ia no discrimination and where everyone is welcome if they agree to the simple rules which ask that we treat each other with respect and we are civil no matter how much we may not agree with someone. RESPECT is the key and our membership understands this and operates with the highest moral values as a result and everyone who follows these simple and civil rules of this community will be happy here and make lifelong friends. |
Wow, I am so happy to read all of these nice things people are saying about my favorite spot online!! I agree with what Kim said about how even though we really don't know each other personally, i still feel like I know you all in some way!! Its been a really amazing family |

I haven't been on long, but your advice has been invaluable to me even after I've had a Yorkie for 10 years. I love the pictures and the stories. My family says I spend to much time on here (tuff luck)! I don't normally even go to Off Topic area - for me, it's all about Yorkies. Almost everyone here seems to be very pleasant and sharing. I thank you all for that. |

I didn't think I'd last a day on this forum. I'm 49 years old. I'm a guy. I hang out with guys. I don't chat. I had to look up what LMAO and JMO meant. But a Yorkie was thrust upon me, and I realized he was something special. No one around me appreciated him like I do until I found this forum. Here, everyone -- I don't care if it's the person too timid to post or the person who posts just to say hi -- EVERYONE appreciates Yorkies the way I do. It's like a secret club where only the cool people are allowed in. And every one of you have made me feel welcome, even though I'm an old guy who doesn't know what LMAO means. |

i just want to thank every yorkie talker here. you all have helped me so much in caring for lexi...we had 1 dog years ago, but lexi is (mine) and because of you all i have a very happy and healthy furbaby...im on this site 5 days a week for 8 hrs a day and i just love it....i appreciate all the great posts and quick replies...i feel like i have another family at yt.. keep up the good work... love gina & lexi xxooxxooxxooxxoo |
Yorkietalk is an awesome place where I have being fortunate enough to meet others that feel my love for Yorkies. We are a happy Yorkie loving family. I love the advise, stories and Pics, I wouldn't have it any other way. :) |
I have been happy with YT from day one. I have been a member of YT since June and have met a lot of really sweet and caring people. I've only talked to 4 - 5 members one on one on here but feel I got to know most of you by your theads and posts. I was worried about some feelings that were really hurt because of things that were said on here. But feel that with time feelings will heal and thing wills restore itself. I have learned so much and love sharing stories and pictures with you all. YT rocks! |

I have laughed, I have cried, I've been angry, and each day I wake up thinking,, "gee, whats new on YT", each night before I go to bed I check to see whats new on YT.. So, thanks for all the wonderful times we have shared, and may there be many, many, many more. |
I really enjoy coming to this site. YT has had its ups and downs recently but the site is still an amazing place to come and talk about yorkies. I know we all get caught up in the drama but that is not what this site is about. Admin and moderators do a good job of keeping yorkietalk what it is really about. Talking about yorkies. Kudos to yorkietalk! |
YT and Kacee have both helped me cope with the loss of my little Muffin. Losing her hurt very deeply and still does...probably always will in some way. Coming here has helped to keep my mind busy and to keep it on other things besides losing her. Kacee has added joy to our lives and has helped to ease the pain of our loss, even though she can never "replace" what we've lost. Thanks to everyone on YT for being there during such a tough time and thanks to those who make this place possible and keep it a clean place to come in an age when a nice place to hang out on the internet is hard to find. |
