Blackberry? Do you like yours? I'm looking for info on Verizon's blackberrys :) How much does the service cost per month? do they have a low plan and what does it consist of? Which Blackberry do you have? How is the service? I tend to only get reception with Motorolla phones at my house so I need it to have as great as reception. Thanks for all your input! |
I don't know about Verizon as I have AT&T but I think that BlackBerrys in general pick up a lot better than any other phone including Motorolas. When we first got our phones, they were registered a WHOLE HOUR away from where we live and I still had SUPERB service. I was in an area that wasn't even able to register for numbers through AT&T, if I'm making any sense. |
potty training.. i have a blackberry curve threw at&t and i love it and get wonderful service.... also know peopel that have them threw sprint and have no problems.. verizon though i haven't heard any good or bad news!!! good luck |
How are they reception wise? Like in rual areas? I get reception with motorollas where I can with no other phone and would need the same reception. Do you love the phone and why? Thanks! :p |
it gets wonderful service and has fast internet... my n-laws live way out in the country and i get perfect service out there... :D |
i have a friend that works for verizon and she recently got the Blackberry storm and loves it! |
I have the Blackberry but I have service through T-mobile not Verizon. The reception has always been great for me . I even had reception in Haiti :) The only time I have a problem is on Cruise ships . I love it because I can do everything with it. I can send /check e-mail , go online , send text and video ( which I never do though) ,and get a reminder of all my appointments that I would probably forget most days:rolleyes:. |
I LOVE my Blackberry! I have had many, many cell phones over the years and my Blackberry is by far my most favorite cell phone I've ever had :p I will have nothing but a Blackberry (most likely) from now on! I pay $19.99 extra per month which is required by Blackberry, however my service is through T-Mobile. The internet on it is great and so is the e-mail...and I love texting on it! The service on it is wonderful too. I have never once had it cut out or "break up" on me. It's crystal clear! I recommended that my sister get one when she was shopping for a new cell phone and she got her Blackberry a few months ago and LOVES it! She can't put it down, LOL. She always said that "a cell phone is a cell phone" - as long as it worked she didn't care what kind it was, etc. - but she swears that she will never own anything else but a Blackberry from now on ;) It's just a great phone! I also love that you can download (which I have :p) Facebook and MySpace for it  P.S. - We have Blackberry Curve's ;) |
I had nothing but Blackberry's until I decided to be a snob and get the Iphone. Now, as much as i love my Iphone, I would much rather have my Blackberry back...*sigh*. It is easier to use, much more easier to text, and I ALWAYS got great reception. |
i have verizon & the blackberry storm! i've actually had a pearl & a curve too in the past but that was through sprint. i LOVE my blackberry!!!! i don't think i'll have any other type of phone :D as far as service, i've had verizon for a while now even when i lived in cali and i've always gotten great service. i've never had a call drop or lost signal or anything. i'm mostly in the city though so i don't know how good the service is if you live in a really rural area. i don't know how much my plan is because i'm on a family plan with my family in california but i do know the blackberry email & internet plan you have to get with a blackberry is $30/month per line. |
I have a blackberry curve through Verizon, I believe my plan is $30 extra a month and thats the cheapest one they have. I only like the blackberry for the blackberry messenger. I talk to my BF whose in the Navy on it and its almost like your in a chat room. I do not recommend getting the Pearl, I went through 5 Pearls before I got the curve! |
I'm not sure of the service cost, but I can tell you that Verizon has the best area coverage of any service out there. I am waiting for a Blackberry Storm - my son has one and loves it -- he has a full deal package that runs around $100 per month - I believe he has unlimited calling and unlimited texting and internet usage, but I could be wrong. I do know that they have other packages that are less expensive My husband is in charge of the communications software of over 2000 Blackberries nationwide -- it is his responsibility to write the software that drives the sceens for inventory and other business applications. AND on January 20th he will be featured in a Blackberry commercial that will be used in their business to business advertising. I'm not sure when it will air, but I will be sure to let you know. . |

I love love my verizon service. It's a bit more than TMobile and I think AT&T but it's worth ever penny to me. I get service in places that I never could locally as well (Toys R Us and BJ's). I am very happy with the service and the customer service. I don't have the blackberry right now but I am contemplating upgrading to either the curve or the storm. We do have the Voyager and the thing rocks. I have friends that have the curve and the storm and love them. |
See the only reason I am so insistant on the reception is because I have had the Voyager, the dare, a Treo, and so far in my house where i live, the only brand of phone I get reception on is a Motorolla brand phone. And its important I get reception, as I only use a cell phone, we don't use a home phone. I really want to try one, but am just trying to make sure ppl are getting great reception with their blackberrys. |
