When we were first married my hubby gave me a Grt. Dane Puppy for my 19 th birthday. Four mons. after we got married we bought a house. We both worked 2 jobs, So, Danke stayed in the garage. Several times we'd come home and find a dead mouse in the garage with her. They'd come in through the dryer vent. We never knew if she jumped on them or they saw a 130 striped dog and died of fright...LOL Even our neighbors there thought we were starving her and that she was a TIGER!! In a suburb Development!! She was a very small Brindle Great Dane- 32 ins. @ the shoulder with cropped ears that stood up once in a while. I'm not afraid of little furry things or snakes. But, A BUG!! I GO NUTS!!!:eek: That's when I scream for the Hubby. I told him that's why I married him. He's my Big, Strong Bug Smasher!! :D |
oh gosh, I love it. The story, the pictures. Thats great! Im glad your little girl was there to protect you from the big bad mouse in your house! :) I tell BF all the time that I need to remind myself that my boys are dogs. They are sooo adorable and loveable and cuddly, then they go and roll in poop or eat a bug. eewwww :( LOL |
What a cute story...you got quite the princess protector there :-) |
I always turn cups over on top of bugs. I can bear to smoosh anything and Im afraid to pick them up. I just trap them under a cup until DH comes home. I can't believe that mouse stood still for a mixing bowl to be over him!! Too funny! |
That's a cute story. Thanks for the chuckle. |
My little 3 1/2 lb Matty has already caught 2 mice. She gets so excited too! :) |
What a cute story. I can just picture your little princess playing guard dog:rolleyes: |
ok So my question is... how did your son get it from the bowl to out of the house without it running free... This is what would happen to me and then I wouldn't be able to stay in the house! |
Oh that is just toooo funny! :lol tears |
Way to go Roxy.. protect mommy from those big mean old mice. ha ha I would have loved to see that. |
