Awww, how cute and what a handful they're going to be when they start walking! LOL

I don't see the need to put that poor puppy on the kids head though just to get a cute photo... the photos were cute enough without doing that! :(

I used to have dalmatians and my female had a litter of 14!! Talk about a lot of work. I couldn't imagine 18. We only had one that wasn't breathing when born, but we were able to revive it and named it "Lucky" of course. Mine were liver spotted though.

Wowsie! I can't imagine having 18 pups to take care of. I thought nine (from 2 litters and NO supplemental feeding) was a lot. But 18!!!!!

One thing about dalmatians that I thought was neat.... When they are born they are pure white, then they start getting their spots. I love all animals and I was a "big" dog person, until I got my Tazman! Now it is Yorkies all the way......

They are cute but the work must be overwhelming with 18...I have 3 right now and it's busy enough around here for me! I'm worried about placing my 3 in proper homes can't imagine trying to find appropriate and responsible homes for 18 puppies.

I saw this on the Today Show yesterday morning. :eek: I had a family friend who had a litter of Dalmatian puppies. Dini's very first (and last) litter and she had 16 puppies and ALL survived. My friends nearly died, because Dalmatians are difficult and 16 or 18 that's just too many! Eventually they got most of them good homes but for a few months is was beyond chaos. (And in the end they kept 2 or 3 of the puppies that couldn't find homes or were returned from their homes; that was pretty insane too.)
