John Travolta's son died of seizure
 
OMG, I just heard news that John Travolta's 16 year old son has died of a seizure on vacation in Bahamas. How very sad. I just love John as an actor and a human being, and am so sorry for the devistation they must feel.:cry::cry::cry:

yes, and that he'd had a history of seizures thoughout his life. I remember years ago John talking about removing carpet & toxins from his home..... one of the early ones to do so due to reactions or health issues in kids.

How ironic, at the bottom of this page at this moment is an ad for ringtones with John Travolta's picture. Such a sweet guy. Such a heartbreak!

That makes more sense to me. I couldnt figure out how he could hit it so hard to kill him but if he had a seizure he probably had no control

They're doing an autopsy to find out exactly what he died from, so sad. Thoughts and Prayers going out to John and Kelly

that is sooo sad, 16 is really young. :( when did this happen?

as for the ad, most of these websites put an ad that corresponds with the topic of conversation. cool huh?

I saw this online a little while ago on the front page of Yahoo....OMG :cry: This is SO incredibly devastating :cry: Jett was so so young...and I just adore John Travolta....always have :cry: My heart is absolutely broken for him and his entire family. Not that ANY time is good, but what an absolutely awful time of year for this to happen to them...

Oh my, I didn't know this....that is sooo sad....John and his wife seemed like such humble and down to earth people. I'm sure the are just devastated......My heart goes out to them...To lose a child is the worst kind of hurt......

Our news said he had a seizure while in the shower causing him to fall and hit his head.

I believe he (Travolta's son Jett) had Kawasaki disease. So said, and at a young age. I feel so sad for the Travolta's family.

How tragic...so young! Heartbreaking. I know he had health issues and I always admired their ability to protect him from the media. May he rest in peace.

That is so heartbreaking . I know Jett had health issues , but you still never expect to hear news like that , he was so young. I can't imagine the pain they must be in.

Our news also reported that he was also Autistic and had a seizure disorder!!I'm sending Prayers to John,Kelly,Ella and their extended families over their tragic loss of Jett. I don't care for John Travolta at all, but this is a terrible tragedy that no family deserves to go through. I cannot imagine the grief they are going through.
My prayers are with the family.

I just feel horrible for their family! It's hard losing loved ones, but I remember my Grandmother telling me how no parent should ever have to bury a child and I thought about today. It's so incredibly sad!

what is that? i read he was diagnosed w/autism and the travolta's denied it.

Kawasaki disease is a childrens disease and I do not believe would effect a 16 year old. It most often effects children under 5, and rarely over 8. Its a disease of the lymph nodes, and once it goes away, it only ever comes back in 2% of cases. It most likely had nothing to do with the seizure.
John most likely denied autism because, like me, he believes it is a huge catch all and highly overly diagnosed and way over medicated. It is one of the very few things I agree with the man about.
