Clever wording for karaoke invitation Hello creative YTers, Any clever suggestions for wording an Evite for a karaoke (SingStar) Party? Last party, we already used the phrase "Unleash your inner Rock Star". This is for a crowd in their 20s/30s. So far I've just got "Kome on over for a kasual Karaoke party". It's got a K theme, but still not clever enough for my high standards! Would love to hear your ideas. |
Gosh, ... I'm wracking my brain and can't come up with anything. I did come up with a bad Vanilla Ice twist on an invite, but... it was bad. (Wasn't he lip synching his songs.... so thats kind of like Karaoke.) (See, I said my idea was bad). (plus no one in their 20's would remember him...). (ok, i'll shut up now). |
Hmmm, I like that parallel to lip synching!...maybe a genius idea will pop into our heads overnight. :asleep: I'd better put a pen and paper on the nightstand! Thank you! |
Well.. ok, if it's not so bad... It started off with "Ice Ice Baby.... "... join me for some lip synching fun... Karaoke style... See? It was bad. LOL!!! |
Not really for sure about the wording or anything, but what if you make the invitations look like a concert ticket?? that would be kinda cool...or my husband said make it look like a back stage pass at a concert. just a couple of ideas :) |
Come get your Milli Vanilli on |
I like the idea of making the invitation look like a concert ticket. You could make the invitations like a casting call for American Idol lol. "You're invited to try out for the next (city) Idol competition", etc. |

What about something like, "Sing like no one is listening!" or "Sing like no one is listening (even though everyone will be secretly judging you!)!" :) |
