get a life! :D I'm sorry that things got so out of hand last night. I didn't catch up on it all until this morning, and even then I couldn't read everything on that awful thread. Whereas I do feel "taken in" by all the lies, my deeper feeling is that someone who has to make up a life is more to be pitied than censured. My sincere hope is that the person gets the help she needs and goes on to have a healthy, happy, productive life. As for the CSI team, I'm glad you found out that we were all being deceived, but I think it could have been handled in a more private manner through Admin.

What this really points out to me is a lot of us (myself included) have gotten WAY too wrapped up in the lives of our internet friends (real or imagined!) I hope everyone has a lovely day with their Yorkies today! Elizabeth

Well said! I have only been reading these posts sporadically in past couple days and was shocked to hear about the drama. Let's be nice people. If someone chooses to lie then obviously they have some internal issues. Geez...It just makes me sick. Can we just all get along???? Let God be the judge....

I am just reading all of this today and I am shocked. Kelly is such a nice person. She is knitting me a sweater for Chachi. She didnt deserve what was done to her. Who is this CSI anyway? Why couldnt they say who they were?

It doesn't matter to me who they were. Let's just all pray for Kelly today.

I really hope Kelly comes back, what happened last night it sickening and no one deserved that type of public humiliation.

Well, I can see that people don't want to be lied to. I had had a few fleeting thoughts that maybe there was some exagerration going on, but it in't that important enough to me to spend time doing an investigation! That in itself must have taken hours to do. I'm not condemning the CSI group, though. I think they just want people to be truthful on YT. I just wish it had been handled by pm's instead of the way it was.

I hope kelly is doing alright... she didn't desearve the public humilitation.

I totally agree. IT should have been handled way better - who knows how Kelly is today - doesn't anyone realize she could be devestated and actually do something far worse then post on this yorkie site again ? People's emotions are fragil.... and what happened to her could be a dangerous thing -I hope she's strong and can live her life without this affecting her state of mind.

I KNOW this is a yorkie site for FUN and informational purposes - but WHAT purpose did that thread serve last night ? Absolutely nothing ....and if Kelly got pushed into an emotional crises over the many things said - I hope this freakin CSI TEAM can live with that....and I say this to Admin too - it should have been closed or deleted ....certain things should have been handled privately.

If that thread could go on all night - then her one heat of the moment post shouldn't have got her suspended. The CSI post was far more damaging to someone than anything Vainchick said

The thing that puzzles me is that whenever there is a hint of controversy or mean spiritedness, the Admin team is on it within minutes. All of a sudden last night NO ONE on the Admin team was around???

It has been stated in the past that Admin can trace members to their ISP so why not these people? The CSI team can EASILY be traced and outed, rest assured that Admin probably knows who the TEAM is. Their actions are just being overlooked.

RedVette you read my mind. I actually am on my way out and running late but I felt compelled to say a little more. To CSI: ARE YOU HAPPY NOW???!!! You have probaly pushed this poor girl over the edge by outing her to perhaps thousands of YorkieTalk posters. I hope you can sleep at night knowing what you have done. I want you guys to personally know that her "stories" never hurt me one bit! I am a grownup and can judge for myself whether something is true or not. Who cares if she doesn't really own horses or have the tatoos she said she'd had. The only thing your outing did was make me wonder just what kind of people are members here since you mentioned how you guys were regulars on here. All that showed was just how "HIGH SCHOOL" some people can be.......Gimme a break!!!!!!!!!! :thumbdown

You can log on to another person's computer to your YT account & it will show a different IP address, as long as you have your password you can log in anywhere.

I think you have to trust your Admin on this one. Has Admin ever wronged anyone? Admin has only YT at heart. Admin wasn't the one telling lies! Admin could have been away from home for the evening & missed the whole thread and the moderator too. It happens! And sure enough, when no one is here to moderate, it happens. Doesn't this happen in your own personal lives too?

I feel sorry for the person who felt they had to lie to get some friends. But some people may have been hurt over the lies, maybe not all of you, and that was wrong.

Admin said it could have been handled differently so evidently they didn't know this was going on. Admin wasn't caught in a lie so why be suspicious?

CSI could log onto a friend's computer, create an email account, & sign up on YT. It is very easy to get around the rules if you want to. No one should be blaming Admin. For all we know, CSI confronted the person, it was denied, & so handled it the way they did. No one will probably ever know.

The whole thing is sad. I think we need to pray for Kelly.

I can see what your saying cacbeary...but yes...Admin was here. User names show up on the bottom of the page. The name was there.

I'd love to think all were equal and whether what Kelly did is wrong or right - it really didn't hurt anyone.

this is only my thoughts on the whole thing ...and I said this last night - I'd feel lots different if any deception was for profit...but this was just posting. ONLY posting ...and no one was hurt except for Kelly herself.
