We went an Seen "Marley & Me" OMG! I talked my DH in to taking me to the movies tonight. We usually don't do anything special for New Years Eve.. so we thought we would see a movie.. OMG! I didn't know that Marley & Me was so sad at the end. There wasn't a dry eye in the movie theatre! Everyone was sniffing an wiping their eyes.. I looked over an even my Hubby had tears going down like a waterfall! It's a Great movie! A must see! But warning.. so sad in the end.. Made us laugh all thru the show ..till the end.. Glad I went and see it! Marley reminds me so much of My Kikki! she acts just like him.. haha Happy New Year! God Bless you all! |

I went and saw it on New years eve also. I bawled and I already knew how it ended so did my 8 yr old. Then we came home and loved on our babies |
I saw it on Christmas night and it was so good but so sad in the end. I never hears so much sniffling in a movie. The man in front of us was crying like crazy. |
I read the book a couple of years ago, so I'm sure the movie would have been good. I'll wait till it comes out on DVD because I just don't like sitting in a movie theater because you can't pause it to go potty or get a snack and you can't find very many ways to sit and still be comfortable. |
I want to go see this sooo bad too! But I heard that it was sad from someone I know that went to see it, and that made me nervous - because when it comes to "sad" and "animals" - well, that just doesn't mix well with me :cry: I am still going to see it...but I will be stuffing a box of Kleenex in my purse :cry: |
I read the book, so I know how it ends. It's very sad, but it's bittersweet because he was so loved. I can't wait to see the movie! :) |
We went and seen this movie this afternoon. It DID have a very sad ending....... Kleenex required. I found that the middle of the movie got a little..... not really boring, but kind of "uninteresting" at times. I wish I would have read the book first. A freind of mine said the book was VERY good. |
Fiance and I just got back from seeing it. It is a very good movie and yes, the entire theater was sniffling. I think they really did a great job of portraying just how important of a role dogs can play in our lives. |
I saw it and of course cried, it was sooo sad at the end and seeing him get old. :( |

I read the book and want to see the movie soon. I have never cried out loud over a book before. I also laughed out loud many more times too. It was a great book. I hope the movie is as good. |

I really want to see it too, but don't know if I could take the "sad" part right now. Maybe by the time it comes on DVD I'll be better prepared for that, and I won't have to freeze to death in a darn theater. What is the rating, and is it too adult or too sad for a 5 yr. old? |
I read the book in the privacy of my own home...with Kleenex handy. I'm not sure I want to go to a theater and watch it...I'll most likely wait for it to come out on DVD. |

I saw this movie last night and yes it is definitely a sad one. I just snuggled up to mine all night long. |
From the sounds of it I think I will have to see the movie in the theater...I don't know about sitting home alone watching a movie as sad as that about a dog...I don't think I could take it. In the theater I will have to keep it a little together..... Tina |
Hubby and I and a few other people are all going to see this today...OMG. I am taking the whole box of Kleenex with me. I know I am going to be crying a river like I always do at sad movies :cry: And this one will probably get to me even more, I'm sure, since it is about a dog.. :cry: |
I wanted to see it but will pass, can't take sad endings. His picture was in the Tampa Tribune this morning, he was from a shelter. |
