sorry for taking so long, couple pictures 2 Attachment(s) Satelite towers are having problems due to the heavy snow, I connected with dial up just to come in and try to post a picture, the snow is heavy. Looks like we won't be able to get out for about five days. Snow is beautifull but sure hate the feeling of confinement :( oh well, this don't happen that often, just hope we don't get another right away. Have my sewing machine set up so maybe I can get a bit of sewing done, and Jack says I have no excuse for not making that delicious fudge recipe that Connie sent, THANKS CONNIE, she makes the best fudge ever. Don't know when I will be connecting with the satelite but looks like for the time being I will be off line, this dial up is, oh my gosh EVER SOOOOO SLOW.:eek: Hugs, Patti and Jack and Girls. |

We got a couple of inches of snow the other day......right now we've got a mixture of rain & sleet, and would you believe (on December 18th).....thunder and lightening!!!!!!!!! This should be changing to snow within the next couple of hours, then we're supposed to get possibly 2-4 inches of more snow. So, we'll see. But that thunder & lightening was just weird.:confused: |
Patti...I loved seeing the pictures! What a beautiful view from your place! Looking at the pictures, I can't really tell how deep that snow is...cept for the one with the yardstick! Now you might get more? We are supposed to have a winter storm on the weekend again. I know what you mean...that feeling of confinement! Hugs to you...keep warm! |
We usually have snow but they say tomorrow it is suppose to be in the 60's. Thats rare for December for Ky. But we are getting rain. I'd like to have snow for Christmas:snowman2:...... |
What stunning pictures! That's a breathtaking view! I'm sorry you're having to deal with the negatives of snow! I hope it clears up enough for you to enjoy it! We're expecting snow tonight/tomorrow. I'm really crossing my fingers that we get some. :) |
We are getting a foot today into tonight. My bfs kids are with us tonight, but I highly doubt they will go out and enjoy the snow. They do not enjoy anything... they are such miserable kids! :( Its sad! I will enjoy the snow though! Last night BF had his Christmas tree lit up and fireplace going, stockings are hung on the fireplace also. I was laying on the couch and the scene was sooooo homey and Christmasy, I never wanted to close my eyes! :) Enjoy your snow!!!!! Your pictures and view are stunning! I would LOVE to wake up to that view every single day! :) |

it just started snowing here in Rochester we are suppose to get some snow about 10 inches but nothing big :( ...snow means...hubby is going to have fun drifting his truck around...I just cant believe the things he can do with it and the control.. its like my own lil roller coaster ride lolol |

Headed our way! Your views are breathtaking!!! I'm afraid the snow is headed our way though...we're expecting 10-12"!! They are actually closing work today at 1PM and not a flake has fallen yet! For me, it's pretty to look at, but I sure don't like driving in it. Can't wait to see what Willow & Jake think of it! |
Those pictures were beautiful! I love the snow!!! We have only had a little snow on and off.....we have been getting ICE!!!! --slide my daughters accord in the ditch the other day!!! :eek: I want SNOWWWWWWW!!! :biggrin: It is suppose to turn very cold again this weekend, maybe I can get some snow! |
The first storm is past us, it only dumped 14" of snow, here by the lake, by noon. The plows are going by now for the first time today. The next one is due Sunday morning and we are getting 30mph winds with that one. We are guaranteed snow for Christmas this year. There's still time, we have an abundance, if anyone wants it shipped UPS let me know. |
