I need to vent ARGH! So this is the first Christmas away from family for both my husband and I. We are in Germany thousands of miles away from our friends and families. I am having not the most easy time making friends. and now just to make life better the Post office screwed up ALL the mail for our garrison and we won't be getting our presents until January. Awesome. I'm goin to go drink hot chocolate laced with Baileys and eat ice cream to lessen the anger/frustration. Worst part. Can't even complain about the USPS since my MIL works for them. Merry Christmas to all and keep those christmas tree pictures coming...i need some spirit. |
Aww, it is hard to be without family for the holidays. My ex and I were stationed at Bitburg germany for 3 years, this was many years back, and I remember being so depressed all the time with the cloudy days. Hang in there and try to get out alot. We were young and broke so we would go castle hunting, there are really some gorgeous places. Wishing you a merry Christmas. |
I'm sorry you're having a bad time. Maybe you and hubby could celebrate Christmas twice. You're onw personal one at Christmas and another in January with your late gifts. |

((((HUGS))))) How disappointing! I like the idea of celebrating twice too! I'm off to post my Christmas tree pictures for you. :) |
Awwww...sorry. Keep your Holiday spirit up...make it last through January. You'll see everything will turn out ok. Merry Christmas! |
((((hugs:)hugs)))) Sorry your having a tough time of it right now. I like the two Christmas' idea. You and dh can have a cozy snuggle up Christmas day ... and another one in January when your gifts come. Don't let it spoil your holiday...I'm sure you can think of something fun to do on Christmas day to keep you and dh smiling ;) |
