It's Snowing! It's snowing here in College Station, Texas! It's actually quite thick. Wow! This is something we very rarely see. Wish I had a camera here at work. |

Wow that's really cool. We love the snow here in NY. We haven't had a really big storm in quite a while. The kids can't wait for it to snow here. Isn't it pretty when it comes down? I think we take it for granted here in Iowa too. I like snow, but I don't like driving in ice and snow...... we have had several storms already and our city is using salt sparingly...the cost has gone up alot. Oh well, maybe someday I'll move south again. |

Yep, it was pretty cool. I haven't seen that big of flakes coming down except when I've been in Colorado. They were huge! (haha to me, anyway!). About an hour down the road from work, Brenham (where I live) got quite a bit too but it was much smaller flakes. It was still snowing about 10 pm though at home. And yes, it did help with the Christmas spirit just a little bit! :D |
1 Attachment(s) I live in southeast Texas and we got between 2 and 3 inches of snow. It was really pretty outside this morning. I took a picture but it was so bright outside the picture did not turn out too well. |
We got snow today too in South Mississippi.......which is really weird. and the other weird thing is at our house the snow was heavy all morning ,but it wasn't sticking. we went 10 miles down the road and it was everywhere. in the yards on the house. I don't get it. the temp. was the same here as it was down the road. They even had snow stick in New Orleans, LA that's the local channels that we get for watching the weather. they are way warmer than us up here on the north shore. well it was fun and i did get some pictures of the snow down the road. i tried to take some of it coming down, but it didn't show up to good. :) |
