Need Ebay/PayPal Help OK, I need some help from some of you ebay gurus. I am wanting to buy something from ebay, and in the payment details, the seller has the following statement: ***IF PAYING WITH PAYPAL, PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENT FROM ACCOUNTS WITH CONFIRMED ADDRESS AND WILL ONLY SHIP TO THAT CONFIRMED ADDRESS*** I plan to pay via paypal, but I have no clue what the 'confirmed address' means. HELP! |

What is a confirmed address on PayPal? How do I confirm my address? Hope that helps. :) |
When you opened your paypal account...paypal sent you a link in the mail. After entering that info online...your home address is confirmed. The reason sellers will specify only confirmed addresses is if not doing so and a dispute arises...paypal automatically sides with the buyer. |
Oh snot. I have no idea where that thingy they sent me is. I think that in the year that I've had a paypal account, I've used it a grand total of 3 times. I'll email the seller and see what my options for paying are. (It's a less than $10 item, so maybe she'll work with me.) |
Last time I bought something off ebay....the only payment option was paypal. No more check or money order payments. If you want, Bama....I can use my account and send the item to you. |
Well, she said she would take money orders too. I sent her an email asking her some more specifics, so I'll see what she says and go from there. :) |
They just want to make sure that someone hasn't hacked your account. They don't want different addresses for shipping and billing. I may be wrong, but that's what I've thought that meant. |
