Help with lost and found dog website I'm so tired of seeing so many posters and fliers of lost dogs in my area that I have decided to do something about it, but I don't know how to start. I have an idea, but once again, don't know how to start. I'd like to be able to have a website for the area where I live so people can go there and post if they found a dog/lost a dog and if they saw the dog and weren't able to catch him/her what part of this area they saw it. If they dog is at their house or somewhere else and to leave info about it. I'd like people to go there and be able to find their dogs. I have found a few dogs and kept them in my backyard, luckily I have been able to get in contact with their owners, but as a dog owner I also think of the ones that can't be reach, because amazingly, there are some dogs that don't have tags or anything to id them. After I get the website set up how do I let people know that there is a resource for lost and found dogs? How or who do I go to for a website? Does it cost money to keep it running? I definitely want this to be a free service. Can someone please help me? Thanks, Venus |
