Do you need Extra Money?

I'm working for the Census as a Recruiter and wanted to pass along to some of you looking to earn extra money in your area. The census will be hiring all over the United States in each city and county. The pay is great. Most areas I have looked at pays 15.00 and over an hour plus milege. You work at your own pace 20 to 40 hours a week.
You can go to the census site and look in your area to see what it does pay and call the toll free number to apply. I urge any of you wanting to earn some money to go there an apply. Get your name in early.

I'm fairly certain the job entails going to homes who did not return their census forms voluntarily.

What kinda job is this? What is census? i need money right now lol

Actually the only knocking is in the last faze if they dont return their census form.
the first faze is the map checking to make sure the addresses are correct at the house.
You will use a hand held computer and check addresses

The census counts everyone in the United States every 10 years. So they need peopel in their own neighborhoods to make sure everyone gets counted.
The census forms are mailed to the houses.

Looks like most of them are $18.75

It starts in Dec and January, It has to be done by april 1, 2010

What measures are taken to ensure the safety of census takers? I'm not so sure I would feel safe going door to door in some neighborhoods.
