Woke up with Tendonitis! OOUUCCHHH! IN my elbow. This happened once years ago. Its the most painful thing Ive ever felt. :( I went to the doctor for it years ago because we really thought I broke my elbow somehow. It was not broken but the doctor said that tendonitis is more painful than a break. Im pumped on ibuprofen and iced it but Im at work today. I hope this makes it go away! |
My daughter had it in her wrist. She really complained a lot. She doesn't usually say much, so we knew it was really painful. Hope you feel better soon. |
I feel for you. That is so painful. I had it in my shoulder for four months. I thought it was broke until I went to the doc's. He offered me cortizone shots in the shoulder but I said no thanks. If your not a chicken like I am that will help you. I use heat, some use ice but heat only works on me. I also wore a heat pad 24/7 the kind that stick on. That helps during the day at work. I hope you get relief from the pain because it sure is painful. Feel better soon, |
Oh girl!! I can honestly say THAT SUCKS!! That's not even a strong enough word- it is the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I ride horses very competitively in 50 to 100 mile endurance races. Last season was EXCRUTIATING. The tendonitis in my left ankle started acting up about 6 miles into the last race of the season.. um, not fun. I rode the rest of the 50 miles crying and sick to my stomach. I knew it was that because it happened earlier that year but not as bad, otherwise I would have thought my ankle was broken. Sorry to go off on me :p, I just wanted to say I really feel for you. At least you don't have to use your arm to support your body :p |
Sounds very painful. Hope you feel better soon. It is so hard to rest your arm, but try and limit the use. |
Another year older another ache! haha Its doing a little better today. I should be wearing a sling and not using it, but I need to work and go to school and I can't with a sling on. So I iced it a lot yesterday and taking ibuprofen. It takes the edge off at least. If anyone has never gotten it, it is excruciating pain. My doctor said it was worse than a broken bone by far. You actually really think the bone is broken or dislocated. Unless you know what it is already from a previous flare up. |
