I'm so sorry to hear this. Wind and fire are a dangerous combination. Please be safe! |
I saw on the news and it is so scary how fast the fires are coming up. I hope everyone in those areas stay safe. |
Hi Patti...Those fires are so terrible and I'm praying that you stay safe from them. I hope you get some rest today. Sending hugs to you and Jack. I'll be praying! |
So scarey. Connie, I managed to get two hours sleep, wish I could have gotten in my four hours, but I am wide awake now. Jack said their reporting the fire in Sylmar is moving North West, with the winds the way they are it is hard to tell which and what direction the fire will go. It is really terrible, the winds are very strong. I don't know how many structures have been lost. Thanks to you and everyone praying about the situation with this devastating fire and keeping all those firemen in your prayers, they are mighty brave and dedicated folks. Living here in the mountains and having witnessed the firemen fighting fires in the past, the strength it takes in dragging those heavy hoses and with the heavy hot gear they have to wear and all they have to do............ God Bless Each Of Them. Jack said their now reporting rolling blackouts due to electrical outages in many areas now. Hugs, Patti and Jack |
Its just horrible. We see it on national news. I remember I was stuck in the middle of 3 fires when i was living in riverside ca:( Stay safe everyone |
I have been watching the news and saw this. It is so frightening. Prayers. |
:hands::hands::hands: for all those here in California where these fires are. We are okay, we were ready to vacate if needed. Please keep all these folks out here in your prayers, also the firemen/women, sherriff's, high way patrol, for the endless hours in doing what they needed to do. God Bless all those helping one another to get through this most devastating disaster. Hugs, Patti and Jack |
I'm at my parent's house today (well, every weekend) which is in Downtown LA and man!! I know we're no where NEAR the fires but the sky is sad and has an orange hue to it, my car is covered in ash (it's "sprinkling" ash) and the air smells of smoke. It's not thick or anything, you can just smell it. I think there's another fire in the Corona area too. Anyone in the OC area near Irvine??? Just wondering what it will be like when I go back to my home.... |
