Linens & Things Any Linens & Things fans out there? Due to the economy the ones here are going out of business... I went to their website, and they're all going oob completely.... unfortunate, but big bargains are to be had. Thought I'd share this. I know they have Yankee Candles there, so I can only assume those are on sale too! I'm going tomorrow. |
Several of ours are closing, but a few remain open. It's sad, I think they are so much better than Bed, Bath and Beyond. |
All the ones in my area are going oob. I went last week and it was sooo wiped out! I did get a beautiful wooden curtain rod that was originally $70 for $28! I got a bunch of other small things, but the stores were mostly all picked over! |
Oh crap!! I have a $20 gift card to there, I guess I better get my butt over there and buy something lol, thanks for letting us know!! |
Yeah the one I went to is also going oob but, I went last week and there weren't really any good deals, it seemed like they raised the price a little and then put a 20% off sticker. I went to bed bath and beyond and found the same item cheaper than linen and things! I am hoping that towards the end they will have some crazy sale, like 80% off so that I can get that kitchen aid I have been dreaming of! |

QUOTE] They are raising the price to mark them down. My dtr works there and said a liquidator has taken over. They are still bringing in trucks of stuff. They no longer can use their employee discounts, not sure if still accepting gift cards. Prices should go down a little each week. |
ours is going oob too! i went the other day and bought something.. but i really want kitchen stuff and it is only 10% off right now.. so i think i'll wait until they mark it down more then go back |
Yep, we just got back from there. I thought some things seems not such a good deal. Well, except this coffee pot we got! I think it's an ok deal. Yankee Candles are still just expensive even at 20% off so we'll wait on that. Got some towels. I guess it'll be like Bombay when they went oob and every week it's more & more discount... of course less & less items to pick thru also. They were announcing over the loudspeaker they aren't taking Checks anymore, so only cash or major credit/debit cards. fyi. |

I just bought a cal king bed set for $63 from Linens and Things, oh and I spoiled myself if the broomvac, most my house is hardwood and its a pain to sweep and this might make it a little easier !!!! :D |
