Detoxing? So a couple of days ago I was being completely lazy and flipping through one of my magazines. I found and read this article about detoxing your body and it def sounded very interesting. I've been thinking about it for a couple of days and I've been doing some research along with ordering some books. I'm doing it more for health reasons but the weight loss is def a bonus :) I'm in nursing school so I def am aware of all the side effects and I don't plan on doing it for an extended period of time ... maybe a little more than a week. I've been thinking about the master cleanse ...have anybody does this or any detox in general? What do yall think ...? Thanks :) |
I tried to do the Master Cleasnse (TRIED being the important word here :)) I only lasted 3 days. It was soooo hard. I completely believe in the benefits of this cleanse though. If you really read about it and talk to people who have done it, it totally makes sense. I just do not have enough will power to go 10 days without eating. The lemonade that consists of cayenne pepper, lemons, water and syrup was okay at 1st...but let me tell ya, after a few days just the smell of it made me want to hurt someone :p:p Good luck if you do decide to do it, I know you will be really happy with the results. |
Try a book called "Joshi's Holistic Detox" - it's actually a healthy, alkalizing detox where you don't starve, but you balance your body's pH - and most people lose weight too. Read the Amazon reviews. :) |
