I finally broke down and bought a Canon Rebel XTI, Takes awsome photos but it is expensive. Had a canon sureshot that took decent pics.

I love my Sony Cybershot. See my avatar for some pics. I'm on my laptop so can't pull up others. This is a great camera.

I have a sony cybershot and I love it. We've had ours for over 2 years with no problems at all.

I bought a Finepix S700, made by Fuji, last year. It was just a little over $200 (from Newegg.com). It has 7.1 megapixels and is a 10X zoom. Here's a couple of my better shots. The butterfly one is the macro zoom feature and the Yorkie (Frankie) was shot using the regular zoom feature. It's a really good camera with some limitations but is a great buy for the money. There's probably an upgraded version out by now so you may get better for the same money.

Are you looking for a point and shoot or a DSLR? My DSLR is a Nikon D40 - love it. If you're really interested in DSLRs though, I'd probably get the new D90 at this point.

This is what a really want but there to much money I think i'm gonna end up with a point & shoot.

I have a Fuji also...and they are GREAT cameras for the price!!! Excellent quality! I have taken many great pictures with mine!
It's a bigger camera though, so I don't know if that is something you would want.....my DD has a little Kodak EasyShare and it takes good pictures.

MissPinkBarbie has a good camera.....HERE - she has some GREAT pictures.....Dina_Nichole has a Nikon D40 (I believe) and has WONDERFUL pics too!

There are so many out there that I can't keep up! The only thing I'd caution is to make sure it has a viewfinder for composing the pictures as opposed to just an LED screen. I bought a Nikon CoolPix S10, and it just has an LED screen. When it's sunny out, you can't see your subject. Otherwise, it has a 10X optical zoom that I love, but it's useless outside most of the time.
