Barney (The First Dog) Bites Reporter
 
You can't blame Barney-- if some strange man talking in a wierd voice came at my head carrying things that look like weapons, I'd bite too. That poor dog has had to go through enough in his time in the White House.

(It was more of a quick nip, not a vicious attack, so this isn't too graphic) --

My old neighbor tried to pet Cleo once while wearing big gloves. Cleo growled and snapped at her. She has never done that to a person ever. Then again, that ended up being the neighbor that caused all of the problems with us, so it was probably because dogs can read people better than people can. That reporter is probably a big jerk too, lol.

Obviously Barney has had enough of the intrusive press. And, knowing he is on his way out of the White House, he isn't playing nice anymore! :p

I saw this last night. They played the clip over and over and even interviewed the reporter. He seemed like a really nice guy and just laughed at the whole thing. He has to go back to the White House Dr. to get a tetanus shot.

Poor Barney! I bet he's just grouchy after hearing all this buzz around the new "Firt Puppy". I'm sure he's bitter, I mean he's been the first puppy for quite a while now and didn't get near that much attention. Plus this guy's been a White House correspondent for how long and he's just now decided he wanted to give Barney a little love, I'd be ticked off too!

Well, it was a reporter. Maybe he didn't like what the man said or maybe he didn't like who he voted for. They say dogs can sense things........LOL
