Do You Belong to A Gym?? I am thinking of joining a gym, but I have a few questions: 1. Do you go regularly? 2. Do you think its worth the money you spend each month? 3. Is it better than working out at home? 4. Are there certain things I should know before signing up?? |
i use to go to the gym all the time..but then i got out of routine and stopped going... i think if i would've had someone that would go with me..i would've went more...i recently canceled my membership and i just started working out at home and running around a park near my house! |

I USED to go to the gym everyday!! But then I got my girls and now I never go, man they are a bad influence on me...lol....but I have recently started working out at home, that way I don't miss anything with the girls and they can join me sometimes...I find that I work out more now then I did at the gym, because I am not worrying what is going on at home!! |
Yes I do. I go to Bally Total Fitness 4 times a week and I love it!!!! I love to exercise but the main reason I love it it's because of the steam room, the Jacuzzi, the sauna, and the pool. :eyetearss |

I joined Curves in March. "Girls Only Gym"!!! The staff is super nice, and very encouraging. I stop on my way home from work 3-5 times a week. You need to watch out for the contract: lenth, cost to break if you even can. My contract is for a year, and the most to cancel is $50. I have a friend who gioned Golds Gym in April. She signed either a 2 or 3 year contrat and hasn't gone since about 3 months after joining. She can't get out of her contract. Big bucks for her! |

1. Do you go regularly? I go daily, but then again I am a freak about fitness. 2. Do you think its worth the money you spend each month? I do believe that it is worth the money that I spend because there is so much more variety than working out at home. 3. Is it better than working out at home? See above, Also, where else are you going to be able to check out the meatheads, Roid Kings and just plain eye candy? 4. Are there certain things I should know before signing up?? If you are thinking about joining a gym, check out more than one and see if they both have trial memberships. If so then sample them both, see how clean they are, especially the locker rooms. Also, see what kind of deals they have on memberships, if they only have where you join for a year, see if the membership is transferable to some one else should you not continue going. |
