Too Sentimental (and NOT political) Every time they mention Barack Obama's grandmother not living to see him make history, I start crying. My heart goes out to this man whose victory has to be so bittersweet. The poor pups are trying to figure out what is wrong with Mom! I guess I feel a kinship in that, because my grandmother raised me, and I miss her dearly. How proud she would have been of him! |
I am very sure she is watching over him and she is very very proud that her grandson has made history! |
Yes I think it is very sad that it happened right now also. |
It really was heart breaking. I can't imagine the thunderstorm of emotion he is experiencing right now. At least she survived to see him get so close and I'm sure she died knowing he would win. |

Don't be sad, she has her vote in, and like they said it will be counted. Her time came to take her white wings, so she will always be watching over him and his family. I'm sure she was watching last night, just as I'm sure she will live in his heart forever. Try and look at it this way, she would have been watching his win in bed from a TV, in stead she was right beside him. I have a feeling he knew she was there. May she rest in peace :2hearts2: |

Awww...its making me cry more. I am just a sappy person. ;) So beautiful about what everyone said about her still being there. I do think it is an indicator of his character to be strong enough and recognize her in his speech and not let his emotions overtake him. I'm sure his Grandma meant no less to him than mine did to me, and I was a mess for months after mine passed. |
