I have in the past been on sleeping pills but they have never worked for me... and plus I HATE taking pills... does ANYONE have ANY suggestions??? thanks in advance :) |
I have always had a hard time sleeping too. I do take something to help me fall asleep but I still wake up several times. I also have a chronically sick dog that gets me up 2-3 times a night. I have tried cutting back on cafeine and reading to help me fall asleep but have not slept through the night ever. My Mom was the same way. I hope you can get some good suggestions here. |
What i'm about to suggest is a pill..HOWEVER it's all natural and i give it to a lot of my patients. Go to GNC or Whole foods..or some all natural wholistic shop nearby and purchase something called Melatonin. We all have melatonin in our body's..some just lack less than others. Take it right before you go to bed...not before. Cause your problem isnt getting to sleep...its staying asleep. Buy a small bottle..give it a try. Works wonders on the kids I work with. |
For me Lunesta is a life saver, I never could sleep. I tryed everything there was and so tired, draggy and depressed because of no sleep. My Health was getting bad because of no sleep. Doctor put me on Lunesta and I get up in the mornings feeling great. Take it about 1 hour before you lay down and boom you fall asleep so fast. It may not be for everyone but it sure has helped me. |
