Dinner Help! please? so i am making chicken tighs once again. and I love the thighs and the crunchy skin. I have used oil on the skin for it to become crunchy but it wont. Any suggestions? Ive tried the broiler...burns the skin...Ive tried 500 temp for 10 minutes and wont do anything.:confused::confused: |
Brushing the skin with butter should make the skin crunchy. Want an easy recipe...with delicous skin? Take about a cup of parmansean cheese...and a little less of bread crumbs. Moisten the chicken and rolled in the mixture above...bake 350 for 1 hour. Yummmm...and the worse part for ya...is the best...the skin. |
When I cook my chicken, i always coat it in eggs, then some flour mixed with some seasonings, then egg again, and another dip in the flour, I usually have good results with the double dipping, and i only fill my pan with oil to where it is covering 1/2 of the chicken, and turn it a couple times. Hope this helps, if you cant think of anything else. :) |
Im going to try to butter and hopefully it will work |

Do you have OXO cubes over there in the states? I brush with a little oil then crumble a chicken OXO over the top (OXO-crumbly stock cube) |
