I would gain all the weight in the world before I let myself be a danger to anyone, including Armani and myself.

thats a big reason why alot of people quit taking them.
a family member should have gotten involved

Thanks for clarifying, I am not fully aware of the side affects of these types of medications.

I do feel sad that this thread has been turned into something its not :(
This is about Bobo, and not anyone else.

Im sure we can all agree that there is a lot of anger involved in the way Bobo had to go :(

OMG! I came here today for update on Bobo and I just cant believe what I just read! :cry::cry::cry: My heart is broken, R.I.P. little Bobo! :( I hope his owner will get what she deserves! :mad:

someone had mentioned here that this woman is mentally ill and stopped taking her medication because she was "gaining weight".

i don't know what to say.....

i would happily be the fattest person in the world then to do something so cruel to a loving dog.

the only being that loved this woman unconditionally was bobo. he loved her no matter how crazy, how insane, or how fat she is. it wouldn't have mattered to this little dog. this dog would have loved her just the way she was.

she hogtied and burnt her most loving friend in this world.

i am so sad, bobo did not deserve this.

i don't know how to feel about this, this is so sad. bobo died because this this woman didn't like the "weight-gain"...he died because of someone's vanity.

I agree. I do not think I will post anymore. This is becoming an obsession to me. I close my eyes and see Bobo. I need a break. I have a fur baby at home who needs me. And if I could have I would have protected Bobo with everything I had too.

You shouldn't assume things about people in what they do or do not do in their spare time/what issues they are raising awareness for.

I'm sorry this thread has for whatever reason turned into something it wasn't intended for.

It is terrible that this poor pup had to suffer and eventually died. It shouldn't have happened. It is a terrible event.

well, i DID ask you the question, "what have you done to help raise awareness?" in my post. you did not answer, and you don't have to. i am not attacking you.

so you know, this section IS called off topic discussion, you CAN discuss mental illness in this section, and it would not be considered a random thread.

I don't think starting a post like that right now would be a good idea seeing how much anger this issue has already brought up. Also I wouldn't feel qualified doing such a thing since I haven't studied very much with mental illnesses and there pets.

Also I didn't list out anything that I have done to raise awareness because I felt kind of attacked like I was being asked to prove myself. But this thread has made me think that maybe more should be done, so maybe I should re-evaluate the issue a little myself. I wasn't trying to say I was some doctor in Mental Illness studies or anything and don't claim to be, I simply have a heart for the issue.

I appreciate that you have ended this in a civil way in light of the way it got overly heated earlier.

I am done with the discussion now though as I told my thoughts on how she shouldn't get the entire blame and that was all I was trying to say, I certainly didn't want to start a huge debate. May Bobo rest in peace.

I'm just seeing this now. OMG, I just watched the video and read the last few posts and found out thru reading them that poor Bobo passed away. :cry: I don't have any comment other than to say, Rest In Peace, dear Bobo. :rose::angelyork:rose:
