Okay, my husband turned on the Kardashians on E! I totally can't believe the values that are being shown on this program. One of the girls thought she was pregnant, but since she isn't they are going to Vegas to get drunk. They just bought a puppy from a pet shop and hid it from their dad (Bruce Jenner) What an idiot he is!!!This is the most insane show I have ever seen.:mad::thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown

Pretty much all shows are like that anymore. I wish we had some of the older shows back that actually had a moral lesson in them :(
Sick the way that all of Hollywood pushes their instant gratification agenda on our youth.

I find them funny. Their antics are what they are known for. They make me laugh. I like their humor and fashion sense. For me.. they are some comic relief after a long day.

I don't think this is a show for the younger kids. If I had kids I would block E entirely.

I'm not surprised at all anymore.....I don't watch much tv anymore because it's all the same junk......If people would stop watching it might send a message.....then again maybe not...:rolleyes:

I don't buy the tv rag mag.'s, or watch the celeb news shows, or the awards shows, or the reality shows or for that matter I don't buy dvd's, c.d's, or concert tickets.....What in the world am I doing with my time!....;)

Exactly.

People take TV too seriously. You have to separate TV (and the entertainment industry in general) and reality.

For me.. I do watch the silly E programs. I read gossip online. It's my guilty pleasure. It gives me a break from my stressful life. I primarily look because I like to see what they are wearing. I don't buy the magazines or spend any money on it. It's my naughty secret. :)

I like the show, the only thing that surprised me was when the younger 2 girls were on the stripper pole and then Brody's friend was videotaping them and joking. But i do think a lot of the drama is created to make the show interesting, cause if it werent ppl won't watch. The thing about what's her name getting pregnant, she's old enough, she is like 29 so i dont think that was a big deal. She looks much younger tho, i thought she was the youngest but shes the oldest out of all 3. The show is funny tho and i like to watch it but then again i think i watch all reality shows:eek::p

I agree and it's even beyond that. It scares me that so many people see this as entertainment and don't see how sad it is. But don't even get me started on that stuff. I can't even stand American Idol.....
I just think that when we find it entertaining to watch people humiliate themselves... well, what can I say except that it's sad?

I think they are famous from Kim's sex tape and that's about it. Stepdad Bruce Jenner is of course famous from the olympics but I doubt anyone would be lining up to put him on a TV show today if not for Kim's sex tape. Bizarre that one sex tape can get a whole family a TV show.

She really is famous because of her sex tape. Her dad was one of OJ Simpson's attorneys. I like the show. It's funny. Most reality tv shows are going to be the same. It's entertainment. I would not let my son watch that. He doesn't even watch Drake and Josh and I limit his Spongebob. lol :)

I think the show is just silly, stupid fun tv. But saying that I would never let my young children watch it (if I had kids) - I don't think it's meant for a younger audience at all.

I know, it's very bad. Most programs on E are like that. It has because more of a adult channel over the years....
