Halloween Costume Help!!!!
 
Hubby and I are attending a Halloween party on the 25th and have yet to get a costume. Last year I was a nun and he was a devil. This year I was going to be Jane Fonda (in her workout days w/the leg warmers and sweatbands on my wrist and head) and I wanted him to go as Richard Simmons. He is not so sure of this idea though - he just is unsure if he can do it. I personally thought it would be hysterical!!!!:p
So my other idea is maybe we would go as NERDS but what would we wear? Which idea do you think would be better????

I think the Fonda/Simmons idea is too funny (remember the Fonda days too well...lol) for the nerd idea check out this picture

I personally like the Jane Fonda and Richard Simmons idea. I went to an 80s BBQ and we had both - they were a HUGE hit!

I like the jane fonda and richard simmons costume better than the nerds. i'm giggling just thinking about it. Have him wear really shorts shorts..with a tank top...and jump up and down and scream. lol

love the 80s exercise theme...How about you be Jana Fonda and he be Billy Blank, the Tae Bo guy -- he's more 1990's. but definitely a good option if the Simmon's persona is too over the top. Poor hubby probably have to deflect a lot of ribbing, esp from guys for being simmons -- at least for me, that would get a little tiring and make the party a bit less fun...just a thought. another thought is you go as Fonda and he go as the one of the "pump you up" guys from saturday night live from the 80s/90s that was making fun of arnold schwartenegger

He suggested he go as Lance Armstrong - I told him not to try and be that cool!:p
