Anyone game...new hair style before and after pics?
 
I am bored with my hair once again and want to get a new style. I have been letting it grow out,but thinking to go shorter again. I have been on maternity leave and will be going back to work soon. I want a new style and thought it would be fun if others were wanting a new style also to do before and after pics and post here. Anyone game? Should there be a time deadline?

That is SO funny! I am actually going tomorrow at 10:45 to get my hair chopped off! I have had long hair forever and am going to get it cut like Victoria Beckhams use to be a few years ago... not the pixie cut she has now! Here is my before picture and I will try to post an after tomorrow! I hope it looks good. I really am nervous about it, but I'm ready for a change! Its so boring right now! :D:D

Her current hair style is actually the one I wanted to get, but hubby says no way. He says it is way too short. My hair is so thick I am not sure it would work out anyway. I have it thinned every month. I was looking online and printed out her pic and another. I am still looking. My hair will not do anything for me at this point. Your hair looks great long. Can't wait to see your pic after the cut.

I have short hair, have had for 10 years and am sick of it. I am two months in to growing it out. The last time I tried this my stylist let me get half way then he chopped it back off. I could have shot him. Not this time, I am going for it. So for now, my hair looks like heck so no, I won't be posting any pics for quite some time!

Am I the only one?? I got it all cut off today! But I couldnt seem to take a good pic tonight! I will try again tomorrow and post! Its very short!:D

Well, for like 5 years I had long, straight blonde hair... so thick and just ahhh I loved it. Then, I started cosmetology school :eek:, as you probably can imagine... it's gone now. At first, I had it cut to below my shoulders and it was still too boring for me so I had it cut into a "stack". This all happened in around March of this year. It's now back to a little below my shoulders and I'm still letting it grow but it's not as healthy feeling as it used to be :(.

I realize I have too many befores and afters but beauty school ruins hair :rolleyes:. Next, I'm going to get highlights and keep letting it grow 'til it's above my "chest". :p

Can't wait to see it. I am still looking for a style and need to call and make an appt. My hairstylist is always booked so hopefully she can get me in next week.

I have extremely thick, curly hair and LOTS of it! These are pictures from over the years to show different ways that I've worn it. I have never been completely satisfied with a hair style...my hair is just so difficult!:(

Attachment 246937 This was taken a couple years ago. It shows how my hair looks when it's straightened. I really like this look, but it takes sooo long to do.
Attachment 246944This was taken last fall. I usually don't let my hair get much longer than this or it gets really hard to manage.

Attachment 246942 This was taken a couple months later (on Halloween). I think this is my favorite style.

Too bad you hadn't posted this up on YT about 6 months ago!!!

I chopped off my hair in April. I have the "posh" look and I'm in love with it. Before I cut my hair it was below shoulder length and it took A LOT of consideration before I decided to do it just because my hair is super fine and fragile and I was afraid it would take forever to grow back. Now every time I get it cut, it gets shorter and shorter. I started out with a not so dramatic a-line, now its almost too short to put back in a pony tail!!

A change is always good!! Go for it!

LOVE IT! That is sorta what I am thinking of except my hair is really thick. Anyway, some type of bob style. I have had it stacked in the back before and angled down in the front, but I don't want to do that again.

That last one is adorable! The flat ironed pic is gorgeous! It does look like a ton of work but you have beautiful hair!

You would be beautiful with any hairstyle but your bob is so cute! In the first pic (long hair) did you get that little wave by flat ironing then using a curling iron or is your hair naturally straight? I am always trying to get that cute little wave but once I flat iron my curling iron doesn't want to do it's thing and I can't master curling with the flat iron.

Aww, thank you. :)

I have a natural wave/curl to my hair, but it just looks messy, so I never wear it natural. Its such a pain! I flat iron my hair every day. The first picture is my hair flat ironed, then I actually curl it with the flat iron to get a wave. Seems odd to curl with the flat iron, but it works!

I've been trying to learn to curl with my flat iron and I can get a few good curls and then the next few will be wonky. I guess I just need to keep practicing. My hair is like yours and I flat iron it every day too.
