Pet Blessing

Yesterday, our church had a Pet Blessing. (Outside - Lol!) It was very sweet to see all the furbabies, especially the different kinds of dogs. :)

I wanted to share a couple of the pictures...

1. My husband holding Piccolo, as she was blessed by the minister
2. After the Blessing - Our Minister, Piccolo, and myself

It is pretty neat that your church does that!! ....... and Miss Piccalo looks adorable in the pictures as usual! :D

That was really nice that your church blesses animals like that. :) Thank you for sharing those pics with all of us. I agree, Miss Piccalo looks so...cute in those pics.:):aimeeyork

My therapy dog, Cosmo, and I attended a pet blessing on Saturday. One of the local churches has it every year and I think it's great. There was a big crowd and several therapy dogs attended. There were three ministers there to give the blessings and the one that blessed Cosmo thanked God for him and what he does for the children and prayed for a long and happy life for Cosmo to spend doing good. It was very nice!

Sara, they did. We went to get our blessings yesterday during the early mass;) There were so many animals and they all behaved so great.

Ahh that is so sweet. I saw in our paper that a church here is going to do that. That's wonderful.

Wow! Three ministers. That must have been a huge blessing. Thanks for sharing. :)

Awww, that's so nice Lisa! I didn't know anything about the pet blessings until you mentioned that you were going and then it was too late!
I later saw there were like 9-10 churches around town performing them!
I will have to do that next year for sure!
