watching 21- card counting? Ok so watching the movie 21- and i get HOW to card count (couldn't do it if my life depended on it) but i get that at some point they come up with a number ... ie. +7 what does that number MEAN???? |
I read the book once, and I understood it then, but have since forgotten. The count has something to do with how many high or low cards have been played. It is supposed to give you an idea of how many good cards (i.e. face cards) are left. Since the automatic shuffling machines came out, this system would not work. It's a pity. :( I love blackjack. |
There are a lot of different ways to count cards... The most popular is 2-6 are a +1 and the 7,8,9, are netural, and the 10, J, Q, K, are a -1. The A's are counted seperate..just keep track. So when the deck is a +7, that means that it would be rich in little cards.... (This is the High Opt Card count) *** It has been years since I learned it..so I may be wrong, but I think that it is pretty close*** Yes, the count still works with the shuffle machines, and with 6 decks or what ever. You just make adjustment in the count for the number of decks used. Hope this helps. |
